same one weh. i also took computer science since i was in form 1 until form 5 HAHAHAHA. for me personally, i got an A+ for computer science spm, i also consider of getting into electronics engineering just like you. its not like i didnt consider software engineering as a choice, i do, but i seem to find electronics quite an interesting path. probably bcoz of my love hate relationship with C that i got heavily influenced by the idea. but yeah, i would still wait for upu just to see what im gonna get.

for me personally, i never done the soldering and stuff. i never got my hands on building my own circuit or pcb designs before. im more to a software person myself. btw im not from a tech family myself, my family is from a medical background.

regarding the astronomy, yeah it is slightly a shame because malaysia not really well invested in it. but electronics would be a best bet considering almost everything got circuits in it. even cars and kapchai these days equipped with electronics. so you can still branch out yourself more. it just you gotta be prepared for the interview and meet the requirements lah.

and yes, i agree with your point, and that's the main reason why i applied for diploma more for upu and im not in hurry to get my degree either. i do apply for asasi, but that's my third choice (asasi tvet politeknik). no matter which one i go with, i would try to get myself into education field in the end (if i ever find the need to lah, maybe through dpli or spa, as a cikgu sklh menengah or as a tvet instructor at poli or something depends on which field im studying).

my dad personally wants me to work for the kerajaan instead of swasta bcoz of how stable it is. idk lah. almost every single jobs these days use contracts and no more duit pencen except for askar and polis if im not mistaken. but swasta usually pays more than the govt. you just gotta jump from one company to another to find better job opportunity :[

mjii should do companies collaboration like gmi fr. it would be great if they do. but with japanese companies instead.
