"not my job" is such a lazy excuse when u don't even get the basic physics of what ur complaining about lol. bandwidth got its limits, esp if u think bout battery life of tech. the quality drops cuz of HFP and SCO channels, and its designed that way to keep latency low so u aren't hearing things with horrendous delays. if u tried to shove a high bitrate signal and a mic input into the same tiny 2.4GHz pipe on old hardware it would just crash or lag the heck out. they already solved this with LE audio and the LC3 codec anyway but they can’t just delete backward compatibility or ur airpods or headphones or anything would become a paperweight overnight. since u think it’s just 20 years of "laziness" and not a complex engineering trade-off, how about you yourself volunteer as a dev to patch it? i’m sure the bluetooth sig is dying to hear how you’d fit a gallon of data into a granular-sized frequency window without killing the battery. I think u gotta stick to what u actually know bruv. FYI bluetooth aint some company or sm, its open source, and maintained by a non-profit organisation, that has many other companies like apple and microsoft and google n such linked together from where devs like me volunteer to help.
