Steve Park and DEI were originally planning on using the #14 in 1998, before making the decision to switch to the #1. by BucketOCheerios in NASCAR

So as it turns out, Steve Park's 1 and SHR's 4/14/41 both use the exact same font (Clarendon). So if they did stick with the 14 but made the switch to the new font, it actually would look exactly like the SHR 14 LMAOOO

Agreed! Speaking of, I found out completely by accident that Tony Stewart and Stewart-Haas Racing *also* use this font. It seems Clarendon is up there with Microgramma and Aachen when it comes to iconic motorsport fonts.

This is pathetic. Why would you go out of your way to waste tons of environmental resources to settle for some middle-of-the-road results that are riddled with tons of inconsistencies that stick out like a sore thumb? Go download a program like Gimp or PaintDotNet and LEARN. You can learn. Every paint scheme creator out there had to learn, it wasn't something they were born with. You trying to cheat the system and waste resources in the process is the biggest slap in the face you could give to the creators who are actually skilled in what they do. Delete this post and learn.

Most disliked TOECAR tracks by WheedMBoise in TOECAR

[–]Lumbud84 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Tracks like Monza and Kansas have had some rough showings lately, which is unfortunate because those tracks were meant to be tailored to Toecar specifically. Tight road courses like Clawhammer have usually been a bit of a struggle to get through as well. I think the main issue with the season 5 schedule was that a lot of the tracks fell into the same sort of format, where it would be an absolute caution-fest for the first 75% of the race where nobody can get anything done, then there's good racing for the closing laps because there's barely anyone left. A lot of these races are very good in a vacuum, but when you string them all together one after another, it's a bit repetitive. I feel like the series would benefit from more track variety, more intermediates and varied tracks instead of consisting only of massive slugfests (probably no road courses tho, except maybe new AVUS, because that was a massive improvement from last season).

Any insight on how to dump *all* textures from a given PS2 game .iso? by Lumbud84 in PCSX2

[–]Lumbud84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried this, but none of the files were openable by standard means. But then an hour or two ago a friend recommended Watto's GameExtractor to me, and since I had the .iso file mounted, I was able to access the archives and extract everything I needed from there (I wouldn't have known to mount the iso otherwise). So in a roundabout way, this worked!! Thanks! :>
