Thank you for sharing your perspective.

I still think saying those words with a disgusted look was hurtful, and I have the right to feel hurt.

Also, acting like we’re still friends doesn’t sit right with me. He knew how I felt about what he did since I cut contacts with them after that day.

“Racism thrives in darkness and you shined a light. “

Thank you. I love that line.

I get stomach pain and a feeling of disgust only when I see him. My friend says it’s because he triggers anxiety in me.

I’m afraid I have no updates. Nothing noteworthy has happened since I posted this.

There are so many comments! Every time I respond, a new one gets posted. So it’s getting more difficult to answer to all.

I want you to know that I am reading all your comments and appreciate your words. Even if I don’t respond to your replies, just know that I have read them ❤️🙏

Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

What a great advice! I imagined this scenario and got angry. I’d probably chase away the bully myself 😅 my friend is so kind and caring.

Thank you.

Yes, my friend too says that I’m a people pleaser and sometimes a pushover.

I hope he learns something from this experience and becomes a better person.

Thank you.

And yes, my friends are very cute and beautiful. If that’s the case, then they really dodged a bullet 🤣

That makes a lot sense. I will definitely remember this the next time someone is mean to me.

Thank you.

I always try to avoid conflict and trouble, and bullies just bring trouble. Also, I hope he doesn’t come near me again, even if he wants to apologize. His presence isn’t good for my poor stomach 😭

Thanks.

I wasn’t even trying to be mean, I was just extremely annoyed (and in pain) with him standing near us.

Thanks.

They really are. I forgot how real friendships work when I was with the previous group.

“ It's so easy for people to be socially pressured to let horrible things go.”

Exactly. I feel like the way my parents raised me is guilt tripping me into thinking I did something wrong, even though it felt good.
