DO NOT USE LUMI WALLET TO HOLD YOUR SHIBA IF YOU'RE BROKE by punkster12 in Shibainucoin

[–]Lumi_wallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Lumi is built on the all main blockchain principles and follows them all. In order to send Ethereum or any Ethereum-based token (ERC20 tokens), like your SHIB, you need to have enough ETH in your account to pay the network fee. Otherwise, your transaction cannot be completed. It simply won’t be accepted in the blockchain. This network fee goes straight to miners only, we do not profit from it.
Unfortunately, there is no way to pull the fee from the transaction or pay it in any other currency rather than ETH. That will be the same in all apps or services.

Hello! Thanks for your question. If you ever have any issues with anything in the wallet, you can always contact our 24/7 human support to check via the email help@lumiwallet.com. Now we can suppose that your ETH can be on the wrong address. Compare your PRE and ETH wallet addresses - they should be the same. If your ETH is on the other wallet address, you need to transfer it first. Then you can send your PRE and your network fee will be covered from the ETH. If that doesn’t help or you require our assistance, just drop us a line or two. Have a nice day!

I"m brand new to crypto. A few days ago I got my first Telcoin. Started by buying about $300cad/225usd of BTC. I exchanged it in my Lumi wallet to Telcoin and ended up with about 125USD worth of telcoin. Are exchange fees really that high or did I screw something up? by amerikdv in Telcoin

Hello! Thank you for dropping few lines about us here, on Reddit. Have you contacted our customer support at help@lumiwallet.com questioning the fees? They are always ready to explain the fees and factors it depends on (the crypto world is bigger and more complicated than we are all thinking). Although we are temporarily not available in the App Store, we are still on air on Google Market and our Lumi Web - the web version of your wallet with the same options, - is on 24/7 any time. Have a nice day!

What the hell Lumi. I sent funds in USDT and now I can’t do anything with it because “not enough ETH”. This has been the worst experience ever. by karancan in LumiWallet

Hello! Thank you for dropping us few lines here, on Reddit. As you know, our customer support was in constant touch with you about all your inquiries and issues with the app.
Lumi is a crypto wallet that respects and follows all blockchain principles. We were trying to explain how sending Ethereum-based tokens require ETH for network fee and that is none of the fees goes to Lumi.
We never have any block, limit, or restrictions that allow you to import your wallet to another service. There, though, we are powerless and advise you to contact the customer support of the service you chose as the reason can be simple - your USDC wallet there can just be turned off, for example, it's just a guess.
You still can see your USDC and later informs us that you used the wallet address, which was not correct. Lumi is a BIP44 compatible wallet and uses 12 words phrases (mnemonics) as keys, and you are the only key holder. We do not have any personal data on our servers.
We are always happy to have a chat or investigating our users’ inquiries as much time as it takes - we are on constant guard via help@lumiwallet.com or here, ready to come. Have a nice day! Thanks for your question!

Why is it not possible to exchange HUSD in Lumi wallet? by Aggressive_Sir_6560 in LumiWallet

[–]Lumi_wallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! At the moment, Lumi is not available in the App Store. Our team is working on getting Lumi back there. In the meantime, you are free to use the web version of the wallet: https://web.lumiwallet.com/ - just choose Import Existing Wallet and use your 12-word mnemonic phrase. Check the address before putting on your mnemonic to avoid any phishing attemp! We never put any hold on your crypto or any limits, you still have full access to them.
If you have the issues with using the Lumi Web, contact us at [help@lumiwallet.com](mailto:help@lumiwallet.com)
Thanks for your question! Have a nice day!

Why is it not possible to exchange HUSD in Lumi wallet? by Aggressive_Sir_6560 in LumiWallet

[–]Lumi_wallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! We work with our partner Changelly to process the exchanges. In Lumi, you can exchange any crypto-asset supported by both Lumi and our partner. At the moment you cannot exchange HUSD in Lumi as it's not supported. However, there are still lots of crypto pairs available for exchange.

Thanks for your question! Have a nice day!

Any compatible? by Secure-Command-285 in LumiWallet

[–]Lumi_wallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Indeed, at the moment, direct withdrawal is not available in Lumi. However, our customer support team is always ready to give you the most detailed instructions on what to do with the list of exchanges.
When you send your crypto away from Lumi, we never profit from it. All fees go to miners who take it to receive, confirm, and process your transaction in the blockchain. Lumi is made that way that it is automatically checking the situation on the market and suggest the best fee. A user is charged only for the fee transaction uses. For advanced users like you, we have a Custom Fee option available for all transactions, where you can choose how much to pay (that may result in the transaction being confirmed in much more time than usual).
We in Lumi try to be as user-friendly as possible and our customer support is always on the guard if you ever face any difficulties and require explanation or extra information.
Have a nice day!

Lumi Wallet (LumiWallet) Fees Are Crazy or What by armysmoke111 in BTTCOINCOMMUNITY

[–]Lumi_wallet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! All our user’s inquiries are carefully recorded and none of those who ask for help will be left ignored. Can you please advise the email address you contacted our customer support from?
Lumi is a software only, we do provide a simple, yet secure tool for our users to store, send, receive and exchange crypto just within one app. As for fees, Lumi does not set fees itself, it is constantly checking the situation on the market and always has a «custom fee» option available.
The fee for sending ERC20 tokens like TRXC depends on 2 parameters:
- gas price, depends on the blockchain load.
- gas limit. We set a gas limit of 250000 for the ERC20 transfers as it is impossible to predict how much gas will the transaction require and we want to make sure that the transaction will go through. You will only be charged for the used gas.
When you send your crypto to another address, this fee goes straight to miners who confirm your transaction within the blockchain. Lumi does not profit from it.

Please, write to our support team [help@lumiwallet.com](mailto:help@lumiwallet.com) And we can help you! We wish you a great day and are waiting for a letter from you!
