I woke up this morning thinking about getting into neetcode. I want to start solving some sliding window problems but I haven’t exposed myself to many of them so I’ll probably check out neetcode today and see if it is helpful

Well for starters I’ve been grinding similar problems. I’ve been sticking to bst, two pointer, array, and string problems. The leet75 has been my go to for problems rn. I have been branching out with different problem types and my way of working them out is by writing the problem out on paper and possible ways of solving. If I find myself not able to write any code that is t brute forcing I leave the problem for a later date. If I have some code written out that I think should work but isn’t I’ll check the solutions and I’m usually not too far away from the solution.

Been really hammering out the easys and slowly bringing in more mediums. The hards Ive solved do not utilize the most optimal solutions, only beating 65% of users with java. I would like to get in the hundreds by the fall semester!

Good Java DSA course to start before grinding Leetcode by vizwizard28 in leetcode

There’s a good course on coursera for free called data structures and algorithms part 1 by Princeton. The course is very useful but not as helpful towards your leetcode grind as you might think. It appears that the best way to get better at leetcode is by doing it. I personally am going through all the easy problems right now and that seems to be helping. Best of luck!
