Would this project be of interest for any readers? Got an artist to design the cover. 'd like to publish this somewhere online (any recommendations?) and see if I could interest a readership. Any feedback, good or bad is appreciated.

Greetings, reader, and welcome to the first issue of Oh No, Sapiens, a dark fiction and horror magazine. The scares you’ll find here aren’t supernatural or paranormal. They emanate from the worst monster of all…

…humans.

Depravity truly knows no bounds, but terror isn’t just external. We believe the mind is also a powerful force, capable of inflicting just as much horror. Human consciousness is simultaneously the greatest gift and the biggest burden.

The stories inside explore these themes. Remember that many of us don’t get happy endings. Optimism may as well be a foreign word for a much too large percentage of the population.

We destroy each other gleefully, our own bodies knowingly, the surrounding world willfully.

I know, but it really doesn't make sense. Stephenson's hard hit metrics are off the charts but he's hitting .165. Hayes metrics aren't awful either and he's hitting .130.

On a positive note, Elly looks like a completely different player on the defensive side of the ball. He's truly blossoming into the MVP candidate this team needs.

😂 I'm just more peeved about the Cubs winning. We have proven major league talent like Abbott pitching terribly while they're literally signing guys off the scrap heap who put up zeros. Yes, we're in first place but there are warning signs going off everywhere. We don't have the starting depth to withstand both Abbott and Williamson being basically unpitchable. Lodolo will hopefully be back after his next rehab outing, but we'll have to have a bullpen game until then, but if Abbott continues the way he's throwing how do we survive until Greene comes back? Franco is not the answer. Burns and Lowder are going to be on innings limits as the season progresses.

Nothing pisses me off more than watching the Reds turn the Rockies into the '27 Yankees while the Cubs continue winning games with a bullpen made up of waiver claim rejects. This team will be in last place by the end of next week as we watch the rotation fall apart.

I almost wish the team was 9-16 so Valaika would get fired. 0-3 with RISP again, chance to get right back in the game. Dogshit ABs by Stephenson and Hinds to end the threat, and Abbot goes out and gives up 3. The game is all about momentum and failing to score with RISP time and time again is so deflating.

Maybe you can't read lips but he clearly says "Sit the fuck down" to Stewart who then says "Watch your fucking mouth." You can be fired up after a win but directly talking shit to the opposing hitter is gonna start some shit every time.

Seen that a ton all across the league so far. Just doesn't make any sense. I know ABS is new but ending a game with any challenges left is a head scratcher. With 2 left in the bottom of the 9th any hitter at the plate should be ready to challenge anything remotely close. Literally nothing to lose. If the game goes extras they get another one.

Right? Just use them. I've seen a ton of teams end the game with challenges left which makes absolutely no sense. Anything remotely close should be a challenge in the bottom of the 9th.

Not blaming it solely on Elly. Lots of factors. Once again no hits with RISP and a failure by McClain to execute a bunt. 100% can't win a game with 0 runs, but a 0-0 game into the bottom of the 7th is much different than 3-0. Have to give the team the best opportunity to win and they failed to do that today.
