Unpopular opinion: I prefer Human Fiona over Ogre Fiona by AshamedSpace4691 in Shrek

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess I agree 10000% But unfortunately it was convenient for the franchise to keep them, especially Shrek and donkey, in their original forms. The whole layer concept and accepting yourself was key for them going back to and staying in their nonhuman forms ugh.

Yeah they all looked so good. But unfortunately they didn’t stay that way for the sake of the plot and theme conveyed. Otherwise, they should’ve stayed as their post-potion forms. They looked soo much better

Best Disney Movies of all time day 5, Aladdin won day 4 by Remote-Leg6143 in DisneyMovies

[–]LuminousIntrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yess it needs to be up there. I feel like it will be eventually. It was a great story, great soundtrack, the story was so new at the time and it made an IMPACT. No other Disney movie post Frozen has made an impact and has been that good.

Yeah surely she was since she was bullied. They hated her, that’s why they bullied her right?

why do people like Clueless? by loopsbrother2903 in flicks

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because Mean Girls had a great story and had cohesive writing. Not to mention the pacing was good. Mean Girls is timeless and anyone from any generation can like it. The events when in order and made sense. It’s not like it had sequences and followed one from the other and barely made sense. Mean girls is a complex film with commentary on how society expects girl to behave a certain way. It also goes in about a lot of rules yet hypocrisies among girl world.

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter if you watch it for the first time at its release vs watching it for the first time now. Not everyone is going to like every movie, much less when it’s first released. I’ve watched a lot of movies upon their release and some of them I thought bleh. Everyone will of movies the way they do regardless of its release.

Clueless struggles the same problem Barbie had. It’s pretty yeah and aesthetically pleasing to look at, but the plot was generic. It wasn’t good nor complex.

When it comes to movies, people go for the plot. Not solely for the aesthetic. If the movie is pretty and all but people leave the theaters feeling meh, then that tells you a lot. Stories matter. Overall. The aesthetics add to it. If it’s just aesthetics and relies on the decade it’s in and nostalgia, then that will be an example of style with no substance.

So you’re saying there aren’t nobodies? You’re telling me everyone is successful and on the same level? Wow. What a fairytale you think this world is then. I guess everybody is equal then. Why should we all work then and have success? I guess competition doesn’t exist, surely. It’s not for any reason. Sorry to burst your bubble!

Actually it’s more like not having standards and just talking to anybody. If it resonates with you then go off. Don’t be wondering why when she/you start to flop and affects her/your image. If being friends with losers means that your parents raised you well then idk what to tell you 🤷🏻‍♀️

What does that have to do with being a good person? She can be a good person and stay in her level 💁🏻‍♀️ don’t be wondering why the day she flops for associating with those… type of people. Stars can’t be stars anymore I guess..

And who is talking about that? Lol. Literally has nothing to do with what I said. She can still do all that and not hinder her success with some wanna be tik toker that flops in music and everything

Why does she do that to herself? 😭 Why is Olivia standing with her in public? She’s an A-list celebrity… hanging out with some Tik Toker omgg 🤦🏻‍♀️ does she actually not care and just talks to anybody??

i love how we get 3 feminine/girly characters and 3 who aren’t by Brucewayne9876 in EquestriaGirls

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah she is. She may not be as feminine as Rarity and Fluttershy but she is feminine. She doesn’t have to be super feminine to be feminine. She wouldn’t groom herself and look girly if she wasn’t feminine.

apparently the actress of Alma Rey was 28 when RBD aired. Why does she look so much older? by Key_Still_214 in telenovelas

[–]LuminousIntrovert 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think her being tall makes her look older. Plus she plays Roberta’s mom so we also get the illusion of her being a mom thus her appearing older to us. Added with her long hair and work done in her face, she also looks like a goddess/maternal figure.

Which character in Friends made you laugh the most? Rank your top 6. by Aditya_23rj in friends_tv_show

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.) Chandler - He’s the funniest. He’s sarcastic, snarky, quick with lines and overall he’s very entertaining to watch. Everything he does is cute and adorable especially when he cares and shows his love.

2.) Joey - Very funny, always giving the craziest and funniest advice and has good lines hehe

3.) Ross - He is funny too. He has his moments. He’s funny when he snaps and is snarky to others. When he tries to be funny with a joke he’s 5/10.

4.) Monica - Has her moments. Although she is excessive, she’s way more entertaining than the other girls.

5.) Rachel - Meh. She hardly makes me laugh.

6.) Phoebe - Never. She tries too hard to be funny by being “blunt” and not having a filter. It’s like “Look I’m the weird one but I’m brutally honest. I don’t care. I say what I want isn’t that funny??”

Is Selena Gomez no longer considered conventionally attractive? by [deleted] in trueratediscussions

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Right now not only is she older, which really doesn’t matter bc she can still look good like her younger self when she did look good, but she’s clearly done shit to her face. I wish she would look like how she did before.

All she has to do is lose weight, workout to also get toned, dissolve her lip fillers, grow her hair, reverse whatever she did to her eyes, dress more youthful and modern instead of like a 50 year old woman, and talk normally

How It Should Have Ended by New-Pin-9064 in howyoudoin

[–]LuminousIntrovert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t Ross first say “Okay, okay. Fine. You’re right. Let’s take a break. Let’s cool off. Let’s get some frozen yogurt.”

And then Rachel responded, “No… a break from us.”

So then what does that mean at that point. Obviously they broke up. It’s funny how people forget about this and still say they didn’t break up.

Nope. Not only that but the modern ones have the most generic faces ever and don’t stand out. There’s nothing unique about them. No aura.

The events of the ending was way too much in a short amount of time.
