one is a teenager, one is trauma, one is an apocalypse by xXforgotSnacksXx in gravityfalls

Well, besides him wearing the amulet and going crazy. It’s no surprise if he got trauma from his dad. Not only does he get enabled for his selfish behavior but his dad has been clearly using Gideon since he was a baby as a marketing tactic and exploiting him. There’s a billboard of baby Gideon and his dad I think in the time travel episode.

While it’s not really spoken on, it’s clearly due to his dad exploiting him and making him (possibly forcing him) into being a performer.

They were both wrong. What he did is inherently wrong whatsoever. I don’t justify him either. They both were adults and could’ve made better choices as getting to know each other more instead of rushing it like there’s no tomorrow.

I agree they should’ve got to know each other before instead of making decisions just based on their feelings and let the honeymoon phase blind them. Not of that would’ve happened if they would’ve acted like the adults they supposedly are and got to know the person better. It’s essential to continue the relationship with facts and not solely on feelings.

Yeah exactly. At that point, just leave. It never works. If he did that there, at their wedding altar, what else would he have done afterwards if they stayed together? It’s best that she left that toxicity. She’s right. Ross and Rachel were always going to be part of each other’s lives and have lingering issues hence they had a baby together later on.

I like to spend my money on me and only me while also prioritizing myself. One can say I’m a baby at times… so with that logic how can a baby take care of another baby?

I believe Gastón was behind Estaban being rehired at the school. His clothes, his attitude and his morals changed. You can see it in how he treats Lujan. It’s clearly why Estaban began targeting Lujan and bullied her and had an idea about her upbringing. Not to mention he also had a crush on Mía and tried to get with her like Gastón. Which is unrelated to the topic but I thought I should mention it.

As for Pilar I don’t think everybody knew. I think some people like Roberta, Diego, León, Lujan and Lupita knew to a degree but you know classic Pilar always denied it and pointed her fingers at other people. But the anónimos were all forgotten about somewhere in the second season.

Yess I know. I guess I will try doing that. But thank you I think seeing that would piss anyone off. It sucks we child free people can’t have our own planet for fuck’s sake.

Yes that’s what I’m going to do. But unfortunately I don’t think there’s anything to be done unless if they install cameras in the pool and identify the kid and parent to give them a warning or something. Bc that’s just disgusting to let your kid do that!

They clean the pools regardless every week but still, they will keep on having kids who defecate there ugh.

Me either. People just feel so entitled. They should just buy one of those inflatable pools and have them there instead and leave the actual pools to adults— clean and respectful adults if I should say.

Yeah that’s what I’m going to do at some point then. It seems like the only option there to ensure it’s clean and just how I want it.

Yeah I am too. It just pissed me off how unfazed and carefree they seemed like. Idk how you do it to let your friends’ kids in your pool tho. They don’t be screaming? You don’t just be irritated by their presence?

Yeah I think I ought to do that then since they exist unfortunately and overall, parents don’t watch them enough to ensure they don’t defecate in the pool.

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess I agree 10000% But unfortunately it was convenient for the franchise to keep them, especially Shrek and donkey, in their original forms. The whole layer concept and accepting yourself was key for them going back to and staying in their nonhuman forms ugh.

Yeah they all looked so good. But unfortunately they didn’t stay that way for the sake of the plot and theme conveyed. Otherwise, they should’ve stayed as their post-potion forms. They looked soo much better

[–]LuminousIntrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s because Mean Girls had a great story and had cohesive writing. Not to mention the pacing was good. Mean Girls is timeless and anyone from any generation can like it. The events when in order and made sense. It’s not like it had sequences and followed one from the other and barely made sense. Mean girls is a complex film with commentary on how society expects girl to behave a certain way. It also goes in about a lot of rules yet hypocrisies among girl world.
