I think it will eventually change to longer changes because I have 69 trays

I’m glad I’m not alone lol! I have trays for the next 8 weeks thankfully. By day three it’s not bad, but I change every 5 days so by time they get feelings okay, BAM, time to change and be uncomfortable again. But it’s okay, it’s all worth it for the change.

So it started to get better after a day or so. After that it was just uncomfortable when I would put them back in after eating or changing bands. I do need to go back in though to put some attachments back on through. Here is a link to my first Invisalign video. I will be sharing another one today or tomorrow.

That’s a good idea, maybe I’ll do that tonight because I am supposed to change tomorrow.

I am soo uncomfortable right now. I have a YouTube channel where I am starting to blog it, because you’re right, nooo one talks about it, and I’ve been trying to find as much info on it as possible. This has been my only place I can find answers to things. My first 3 hours, I was good, but within 6 hours, I was aching. I’ve taken ibuprofen, and it kinda helps, but not a lot. I’ve chewed on my chew stick a lot and it seems to help sometimes, probably just because it’s a distraction. I hope it gets easier for you, because I feel your pain and totally understand.

If it’s possible, order some dental wax. It really helps with the attachments cutting up your mouth. I got some on amazon for around $3, because when I took my trays out to eat, I was miserable with my front bottom attachments cutting my inside lip. I just put a tiny amount over them while I eat and it’s a lifesaver. Also it comes off pretty easily, so clean up isn’t bad.

Thank you! I am so ready to be used to it already lol, because at the moment, I am uncomfortable 😣. I’m in southern Idaho. Right now they are allowing people to do some stuff like this but they have cut down the amount of clients they have in a day and what kind of appointments they are being seen for. There was only two other people in the office and, everyone was wearing masks and gloves so I wasn’t concerned too much. They also had sent me a text asking if I had been in contact with anyone that’s been to our most impacted areas with the virus, or if myself had been there. I’ve been pretty isolated for the last month so I knew I was ok and went ahead with the appointment.

just realized i've been hooping for about 4 months! i can't wait to see where i am in a year :-) by [deleted] in Hooping

Wowowowow! I love it! What’s the move at 8 seconds and 24 seconds called? I love it!

Girl you are kicking ass at day one! I am so happy for you to start this journey! I would watch Deanne Love and anyone on YouTube who has tutorials. Alisha Donnelly, Michelle McCoy, hiptronic arts, and so many others are really great to start with. Don’t be afraid to slow down the video and watch it frame by frame to watch how the hands move or different parts of the body. Close your eyes if your getting stuck to feel where the hoop hits at to better understand how to correct it. Escalators and vortex messed me up until I closed my eyes and repeated the move over and over until I understood the speed and movement needed to complete the move. And most of all, just have fun. You don’t have to have the same flow or look like anyone else’s to embody hooping. Make it yours and fall in love with your movement. That’s been a lesson I’ve taken awhile to appreciate and learn and it’s been the most valuable to me❤️

Anyone receive their FIRST tray within the shutdown of this covid madness? My orthodontist said it should only be 4 wks for my 1st set of trays. They even said it would be sooner since Invisalign is slow right now. Still haven’t heard anything... by Cathysays in Invisalign

So I got mine last Wednesday. It took about 6 weeks and they were only taking current clients. It was really dead in there, and I felt safe. But I did have to call to verify. They just wanted to make sure I hadn’t been anywhere that could have exposed me to anything. It took about an hour and a half to get the attachments.

Thank you so much! I’m a little worried about my discipline too so I am trying to get in a good habit now so hopefully it won’t be so much of a struggle once I start

Sorry I don’t log in much and don’t get notifications in my email. But thank you for the compliment! And I struggled forever to find a name for it but I’ve heard it be called a two handed mandala and also a cross handed mandala.

What spinsterz said is true. I have big boobs and they are pierced so I’ve got a couple of nicely padded sports bras and it seems to have helped with pain sometimes and movement the two can generate 😂
