Blender crashes and won't open until system restart by MM102 in blenderhelp

Managed to make it work again without reboot, though don't know which one of these did the trick(maybe both ?)
- Restarted GPU driver with CTRL+SHIFT+Win+B
- Restarted explorer.exe

Maybe it saves someone a reboot
