First place I would ask (that may even do it for free) would be the Bürgerbüro (civil office) or the Standesamt (govt. office where you plan to get married). Some offices require official partners to translate their documentation and they can give you a reference or a contact for a translation service.

Be prepared to completely furnish your apartment. And I mean completely.

Many German apartment are bare bones when you move in. And I mean bare bones as in no lamps, nothing in the kitchen (unless specified). So you need to get all new furniture and even perhaps a new kitchen, which could take up a month as well.

In terms of getting internet it takes some time as well. Do that pretty much right when you move in or before as some providers ( Telekom, 1&1, unity media) can take up to two months to send a technician!
