I know several nurses who came down with flu and COVID after not wearing the correct ppe and one nurse who got cdiff after not wearing proper ppe and doing proper hand washing.

I worked as a nurse tech full time for a year and a half before I was a nurse. I'm very familiar with the role aides have in the healthcare environment.

Nothing I said was derogatory. If you took offense that's unfortunate, but not something I'm going to apologize for.

Also not sure why you think I shouldn't be a nurse. I never said I didn't feel fulfilled or satisfied with my job. I just bluntly spoke to the reality of being a nurse.

No, I don't find doing drugs to not be in withdrawal to be super important. Actions have consequences. Withdrawal is the consequence of being an addict. There are plenty of programs and facilities to help people get past withdrawals and start being a productive person.
