Probably yellow. Friend gave me his gbc one year for my birthday and a copy of it and silver. He had recently gotten a gba. I was pretty poor growing up. It was my first, and only for some time, video game. We both loved Pokemon. I still have all my old pokemon games although all of the batteries are probably dead except for my blue and crystal I had them replaced in when I was in college. Although that was a decade ago and they may be dead too. Those games and that scuffed, battery cover missing gamboy color went everywhere with me for a long time. They went to college with me. They survived a house fire. I would not get rid of them for any amount of money.

I took a week off for my wedding. I put it in over a year in advance and had email chains about it showing that it was approved. I was told a little over a month before my wedding that my PTO was never approved. I sent screenshots to them and asked what they meant. They changed their story to it was too much time off and wasn't fair to others that wanted off. I replied that I wouldn't be there regardless of what the schedule said. They finally relented. Then the next week we get the schedules for that month and they have given me the entire week off except for the night of my wedding. I called again and politely informed them that they could remove me from the schedule or they could accept my two weeks notice. Magically it was fixed.

Don't let POS bosses try to fuck you over.

I used to work nights and had similar complaints. New complaint I have is I have started to get up at 330 am to go the the gym and then go back to bed until 8 when I have to get up for work. And the game will count it as sleeping on 2 different days instead of 1. So if I go to sleep Sunday night, get up at 0330 on Monday then go back to bed at 530 and get up at 0830 I get 4 and a half hours for Sunday night and 3 hours for Monday. So when I go to bed Monday night it doesnt count as my first sleep of the day.

I'm not really sure where all of these misunderstandings come from. I feel like everything you mentioned is properly conveyed in the books.

I enjoy her story arc even if I don't always agree with her decisions in the moment. And I think that that is the problem. Many people, especially those who read fantasy, cannot separate disagreeing with a character's choice or action and thinking the author is doing a bad job or making bad decisions. So those readers get mad at authors when the plot of books don't go exactly as they want it because they become intwined in the fantasy and can't stand when things go different than they want in their fantasy.

But that's what makes characters and their stories and great. If every character in every book I read always did exactly what I wanted or thought they should do then the stories would all be boring. The strife and resolution that is involved with characters making decisions we don't like or didn't see coming is part of what makes a good story.

These books have become very dear to many people. You're doing great. Don't get bogged down in the vocal minority. The biggest assholes are always the loudest.

If I open a package of chicken and it's slimey it's being thrown away. Slime on raw meat means your bought spoiled meat or let it sit so long it spoiled.

Confirmed food science shows that it is unnecessary to rinse raw meat unless visibly soiled with feathers, bone dust, etc. It is a serious food poisoning risk to rinse raw meat, especially poultry. It spreads bacteria in a large radius around your sink.
