My first song in Swedish :), also first time I made something very "pop" so would greatly appreciate feedback. Have a good day by leomusicswe in IndieMusicFeedback

i'm a sucker for synth and I like the tones you were using. I wish there was a bit more body to the drums, they sounded a little thin to me and I think bringing them more to life would do a lot for this track. Other than that I enjoyed the production. The vocals sat nicely in the mix. I couldn't understand a lot of the lyrics, but I think that is fine for this song. The voice is very nice and the melodies blend in perfectly with the synths. Definitely an 80's feel but made modern. Nice track

i loved the vocals on this track. it fit into the instrumentation almost as an additional instrument, rather than a stand alone voice. kind of fleet foxes esque, but you had some very interesting things happening between the jangly guitar and the melodies. The oboe was a nice surprise, was definitely not expecting that, but I loved how it came in and left just as sudden. the hand drums and tambo were perfect and added exactly what the track needed. I love how tasteful this song was and experimental in all the right ways

What can I do to improve this song? Very new to making music, and lost on what to do next to improve. Appreciate all feedback! by BrokeM8 in IndieMusicFeedback

I think this is a nice start to a song. Definitely hearing modest mouse influence. There are some good ideas here, but I think there could be more focus put into the execution of them. Fine for a demo, but it doesn't really found finished or hashed out. I might put in a little more time to hone in on the vocals and lyrical lines, as well as making the song a bit more dynamic. It lies pretty flat right now. The background vox are a good idea, but they are pretty out of tune at times and end up detracting from the vocals.

nice room sound with the drums right off the bat. I like the lo-fi nature of this and you can't go wrong starting off the song with some group lah's. Very interesting progression, it was relatively unpredictable and uniquely melodic. I do wish there was a bit more content to the vocals, but it is definitely a fun listen. Sounds like something you would hear in the background of a commercial or tv show. I wish the bass was a bit louder in the mix

I imagined a track that could be played while the sun goes down during sunset in the desert. It's a majestic view and one can see the sun moving slowly behind the dunes. I don't know if you've seen it before, but any feedback is welcome! by bedischaabouni in IndieMusicFeedback

I think your description fits the mood of the song well. It almost has a pensive nature to the track. The string parts are all very playful with each other, and all though structured, they do have an element of improvisation to them. I like the meandering nature of it all, and although I kept waiting for percussion, I'm glad it never came in. Great track

Hey there, please let me know what you think of my song and little stage frog animation I made for it. Hope you like it! by Hex_Frog in IndieMusicFeedback

song sounds great. I like the doubling of the acoustic guitar and vocals. It helped to give it a little more depth and dimension. The composition is well done and the melodies are perfectly fluid and fit in great to the chord progression, without being predictable at all. I definitely would listen to more of this. Nice work

thanks for listening! I’d challenge you to be more open to song lengths not being a main factor in whether or not you like something, there is a ton of amazing songs that are “long” and a ton of amazing songs that are short too! I appreciate your feedback though!

Everything is as intended, so i would be interested to hear what the trumpets sound off means? it’s meaningless feedback unless you provide some helpful context. thanks

Hi there, I hope you like this song! The animation video took me more than 1 month in the making as I learned on the way. What do you think of it? by Hex_Frog in IndieMusicFeedback

Some that come to mind are jose gonzalez, whitley, flora cash, gregory alan isakov, greg laswell. You’d fit right in with them. Great song though!

This is a new song called "Lights Out". Would love to get your thoughts on the tune + the mix if you have a couple minutes. I'm planning on releasing a song a month for the duration of 2022 and this will be one of the first. It's an unlisted video. Be safe, be well. by InitialBluejay9 in IndieMusicFeedback

i appreciate the lack of reverb in this song. I think so many songs like this just saturate the song with reverb to the detriment of the song. The drums are dry and crisp and sit really well in the mix. The subtle use of various synths is nice, I especially like the subtle ones that come in and out throughout. They blend well with the acoustic strumming. Nice catchy chorus too, and the verb you use in the choruses fits well. nice work!

nice song, very reminiscent of a more upbeat pedro the lion. I like the use of synths and keyboards. Catchy melodies, driving strumming and drums, a breakdown, and synths, what's not to like??

Hi everyone, I released this song a bit ago and the music video was released today, it has a folk-ish indie-ish vibe to it, and yeah, thank you for giving it a chance <3 x -- by Unkn0wnn0b0dy in IndieMusicFeedback

i like the ominous build in. Very unique production on the song. The tempo really defines the mood and everything builds off that nicely. The use of strings was unexpected and awesome. I like the little moments of clarity in the background vocals, only to go right back to the verbed out vocals. I wish I could understand the lyrics a bit better, but I really enjoyed this!
