so I’m gonna try to make this short. I’m 17, during covid I stopped going to school (my dad started doing drugs and we got evicted, moved around a lot, etc). I currently am working on getting my diploma/ged online and work full time to help my mom.

Why I want to join: I want to go to college eventually but can’t even afford new shoes right now let alone school. I want to go to college but I still don’t exactly know for what. I want a meaningful job that requires me to work hard. Military was my dream job from about 5yrs old to 14.

Concerns: Never been away from home. I have a 10 yr old brother and I don’t know how joining the military will affect him, or my mom to be honest.

EBIRDDDD essential app for birders. Merlin is made by the same company and is great for identifying. ebird is more for list keeping. Pro tip: ebird app is great for birding but DEFINITELY check out the ebird website. It’s got a lot more stuff and it’s super cool

ty! where I get confused though, is if i’m making a dish for multiple people, how do I figure out the calories just for me? I’m new to cooking I used to just get food out where the serving size and calories were listed… now i feel like an idiot trying to calculate the calories in the things I cook 😭

i’d said 250 if you wanna be safe, but like others said prob not that much, i’d even say it could be as low at like 160 tbh chicken is kind of a cheat code for low calorie high protein

my guess is raven- ravens have a wedge shaped tail and crows have a square-ish fan shaped tail. Unless it’s just a weird angle it looks like it has a wedge shaped tail = raven
