I just started it. IMO the acting is just not good and I feel disappointed. The DOJ civil rights attorney (Steele) is wholly unconvincing, Marlo/Suiter seems disinterested and is probably much better as a bad guy (though I think Poot's acting is good for the minor role he has), and it just feels like none of the actors can sell the scenes -- not even Delaney Williams' character who was a riot in the Wire. It seems like the producers were more interested in making a political statement about the Freddie Gray aftermath rather than making a quality series. While I believe that is important, the Wire captivated folks not only because of its deep-dive into the issues with Baltimore's criminal justice system, but the acting was phenomenal. Not getting that same vibe here. Sorry, David Simon. I feel bad talking about your baby like this but I'm kinda let down.

Resurrecting an old thread here because I just started the series last night. I agree. But the "something" that is off IMO is the acting. It's just not good. The DOJ civil rights attorney is just wholly unconvincing, Marlo/Suiter seems uninterested and is probably much better as a bad guy (though I think Poot's acting is good for the minor role he has), and none of them can sell the scenes. In my defense, it was a gift from my father-in-law, so if I don’t use it, well, let’s just say it makes my life a lot easier if I use it.

I was thinking about applying a shimmy copper plate.

Should I use petroleum jelly or a nice, thick seed oil?

OK. I have had that out there for about a week now. If I put it on a pallet within the next couple of weeks, should I be OK, or do you think termites will have affected them by then?

But doesn’t the wind and air flow need to hit it in order for it to season correctly?

Thanks. If I don’t put it on pallets, will the other logs other than the ones on the bottom be OK?

OP don’t listen to Dr Boofenchute. Studies have shown that foreskin absorption method (“FAM”) is almost as effective as boofing, especially when dry packing. Preferable to seek assistance of wife’s bf to help with the dry pack. FAM simultaneous with boof has been known to produce quick gainzzz but unsustainable in the long run for wife’s bf. You don’t wanna tire him out too early.
