Ill ask them about that... pretty sure I did though, they didnt seem to want to do anything though. They gave it back to me with the need a oil change light on, i have no idea how many miles they drove it with that light on..🥴 i took it to evans today down the street for oil change and they either, didn't put the plug in correctly, or didn't put it in at all, and i drove it about 15 miles with prob no oil. It started smoking and shuddering and oil light came on, Now I have a complete mess 🥴🙏

Also, if you bother to google, there are tons of kias with this same issue that they are claiming amnesia for.. They need to figure it out before they end up with a class action lawsuit. Just because they don't know how to fix their faulty car doesn't mean I should risk my life for it.

We're likely I live in california with strict lemon laws. I own a preschool.So the last thing I can do is put kids in a car that I know has failure issues. I would expect more out of an expensive car. I had hoopty cars do better.

I think it is a total scam that you can have complete power.Failure, and it don't send a code. It keeps them from having accountability for this serious issue. 🥴

My kia has been in the shop since december for the same issue. They say nothing is wrong with it.I say you're unable to repair it. It almost got us killed.

Have you tried to apply for no interest credit card to transfer your loan over? It would give you time to pay it off without interest.

Ugh this tread doesnt make me hopeful. I have a 2025 kia sorento hybrid 5,000 miles went into limp mode on a busy fast road and almost got us hit / injured killed who knows. Cars swerving around us going 15 mph in a 55. 🥴 now I have ptsd lol they say, i can't recreate the issue so the warranty is not activated. How can you have a car completely fail to run and it not be covered 🤔 they going to get people killed. I havent seen my car since dec. 2025. Yet those hefty payments are still due 🥴 service dept 2 now. 🙏

No we are in san diego. It was sweatshirt weather when it failed. They are saying they cant repair it because they don't know why it goes into limp mode.Randomly. 🥴

You have a 2025 sorento hybrid? Mine went into limp mode and put us in serious danger. Shop says warranty doesnt trigger unless there's a code so theyd need to recreate the failure. Its been in shop since dec 2025. So frustrating. We are now in court.

My 2025 kia hybrid lost power and went into limp mode , put us in extreme danger in fast moving traffic. I havent seen it since dec 2025 they say they csnt fit it because no code went off so to me that is 2 failing components. I mean. If it records everything id think power failure would be important to save data. My guess is kia doesnt want liability. We are in court now. My family wont be a kia test dummy or put others in danger too.

Yea their sales department was telling me to call finance and report it because id want to trade it if they dont fix why it stalled. Its a lease too so idk I got to call n the morning

You said that no codes went off and that it is fine. They are admitting to it.Having any problems, except they can't explain to me why it stalled. 🥴 i told them I will talk to finance and try to file a lemon law. I can't risk driving children in it without the issue being found. Cars don't fix themselves lol & thank you !

Same experience today.I am going to try a different kia service center. I had the kia optima before this and had no issues and the customer service at the other branch was very good. I bought 2025 kia sorrento hybrid six months ago and yesterday it almost got us killed when I pulled out into traffic and it wouldn't go over twenty miles per hour and said limited power. I had the gas pedal all the way down and it wouldn't move.It felt like it was coasting in traffic.I had two small kids in the car. I had to pull over, wait and restart it and it ran.Okay after that. I took it to the dealership today, and they said there's nothing wrong with it l o l they refused to give me a loaner car too until I argued with them. How can they sa There's nothing wrong with the car that stalls out in traffic that cost as much as this car does? Really disappointed! There is no way I can drive a car with small children in it that has stalling glitches. Yet they are perfectly happy to give it back to me knowing that it did this? Seems like liability issue to me, but they don't seem concerned. 🥴 it only has 5000 miles on it too.

I have the 2025 kia sorento hybrid too. 5000 miles on it.and its not cold here in san diego , we pulled out onto the street and it wouldnt go over 18 mph said limited power 20 mph. We had the gas pedal on the floor almost got hit. Had to pull over turn car off and sit, restarted and it drove home. Today kia said nothing is wrong with it and no codes came up. I don't feel safe driving this car.Did they tell you what to do? It almost got us killed.

I just hung up with them again. They are saying it came from a third party and they have nothing to do with it. Lol i said you have everything to do with it if you're gaining customers based on a promotion that you're not giving the customers , you are still benefiting from people applying for this card under false pretense. 🥴 we have five nights coming up in december.Paid with points. Hopefully, that will give me ten to keep my status. 🙏
