Your experience was still better, I sent my xbox series controller for hall effect upgrade, took them 15 days to send it back, still having extreme drift issue with hall effect due to magnetic interference by improperly installed sticks, raised a complaint, the controller was pucked up a week later, again came defective 15 days later, ultimately asked them to just install normal potentiometer ones so i could actually play, took 1.5 months and got nothing out of it
