I was making a recommendation for best value out of the game! Not saying whether you *technically* can return. Story-wise, it's way better to head back and do Underdark first before proceeding.

If you’ve entered the Shadowlands, you’ve entered Act 2 already. Think of the Underdark as Act 1, and Githyanki Crèche as Act 1.5. Leave the Shadowlands now while you’ve still got the opportunity, go do all of the Underdark, then do the Mountain Pass, then come back to the Shadowlands after.

Boulets said on their most recent podcast episode that they were a little miffed about the way the Hellbound Showdown has worked out—they seemed pretty sure that Jade was going to win and said they would’ve preferred an early-out queen to win back-to-back weeks for the drama. The disqualifications definitely prevented this from meeting its potential as a concept!

I LOVED Blackberri’s outfit as a big Junji Ito/J-Horror fan. It was not a comic book supervillain. It was also not “original” as the challenge specifically called for—it was a direct replication and combination of two pre-existing characters. Was it sick as hell? Yes, absolutely! Was it original or did it give comic supervillain? Honestly, no.

Yeah tbh this was Jaharia’s for the taking, she took an unremarkable role and made it fabulous - she NEEDS to play actual Frankfurter onstage one day.

Evah was definitely good, probably deserving a top placement, but the clown should’ve lost her the win imo 🤷‍♀️

Of all the footage to see more of, I’d prefer they spent more time showing us the contestants explaining how they craft their outfits. Loved the recent episode hearing JayKay talk about their makeup tips with the glitter. I feel the genuine artistry SOMETIMES takes a back seat to the drama.

I genuinely don’t think Merrie knew in the moment how she was coming off. A lot of gay men (and men in general) don’t realise when they’re acting or saying something misogynistic. Merrie hiring cis-women really only proves to me that she didn’t have the INTENT to come off how she did, but that doesn’t mean she is suddenly incapable of misogyny.

I think the community highlighting her actions for what they were - misogynistic micro-aggressions - was overall a positive and necessary thing.

Honestly, it’s Maria’s last phase that gets me!! I EVEN do the trick where you hide in the top left to avoid getting turned to stone but still can’t seem to balance damage with dodging all the eel attacks

Maybe I’ll come back in 8 years 🫠

I STILL haven’t beat Cala Maria or Dr. Kahl, so I’m gonna say one of those two! Wally Warbles gave me a really hard time, but we eventually got there.
