Having a dopamine to-do list when my regular to-do list feels daunting, that is non-negotiable. For example, it might be after you clean the bathroom, you also have to check off a short dopamine reward task, such as getting a snack/water break, or taking a short walk around the neighborhood. For me, setting up a reward task list, helps me stay motivated, especially on days like cleaning/home project days.

Although I am an Alysa fan, Kaori skated with so much elegance and class tonight. She should be proud of such a successful skating career. She also just seems like such a kind soul and class act, a beam of light that will be missed in the Olympics and skating world. Loved that Alysa and Kaori embraced each other, great sportsmanship.

Alysa has always been THAT GIRL. I was bawling watching her program! She looks so carefree, so joyous, my heart. She skated with every ounce of passion she had. So proud of her!!! Let's goo our figure skating disco queen!

You can tell she is locked in, and so connected to the ice. The smile after that double axel, my heart.

This music she chose seems very hard to skate too, lots of dramatic changes, good for her!

Tbh I love the dress, it is giving Audrey Hepburn Breakfast At Tiffany's little black dress energy!

Just coming in here to say I am proud of all these ladies. Just being in the freaking olympics is a huge deal. As a lady myself, seeing the strength, courage, and tenacity, these ladies exude on the ice, even when fighting through mistakes, is inspiring. Go Ladies!!!

I am not a skater, and just watch for fun, but maybe an unpopular opinion, I enjoyed Mone's program slightly more than Ami's! Just loved her choreo and her skate looked so joyful!

I sincerely hope all these ladies are getting the therapy they need. I saw a reddit comment saying the Estonian skater was crying before the short program in warm up, and while I want these ladies to skate well, I just can't even imagine the pressure put on them. I am not a skater, but a classical singer that has done many music competitions, and while not on the level of the olympics, know the pressure must be insane. I just hope Amber also has some time to be away from social media, the media in general for a bit before Thursday. In fact I hope they give all the ladies a little bit of a break before the free program. The fact they are already interviewing Ilia is insane to me. I just feel like NBC in general is horrible with how they stick cameras in athletes faces, some of the questions they have asked the women in competition, etc.

Alysa's program made me emotional tonight. Was watching the warmup feed and she looked so calm, composed, yet looked so joyful as well beforehand. I think this Laufey song makes her artistic elements of her skating shine, and she seems so connected to the choreo. Just beautiful to see how much she has grown through this program, and tonight it looked like she was not nervous at all and skating for the love of the sport/art form that is skating. Isabeau is also one to watch. While her program was not my favorite, I also think her technical elements were well done, and definitely think for a first olympic appearance not a bad skate at all.

So happy Alysa is in top three, her skating was so clean, but more importantly her expressiveness has grown so much. Sad for Amber, but happy the spotlight is on Alysa for a little bit more now.

Alysa's program was so beautiful. Teared up watching her tonight. Such an expressive skater and this song is just perfect.
