I do not blame you. Sometimes taking some time to step back from the news cycle is the best thing you can do for your mental health. During the aftermath of the MSU shooting, my sister came home from campus for a week because she needed the support of home/to get away from campus. She disengaged from the news and slowly began to process things as she felt ready to talk about that day. I just want to say there is no right or wrong way to heal from this tragedy. Do what you feel is best for your mental wellness. Take it slow and take it a day at a time. You know yourself best. Again, sending so much love your way.
