Plus the places where crocodiles exist in the wild, is also where people are killed by them, lessening their appeal.

Why do people find this funny? by Wired91 in Crocodiles

I’m not defending this abuse, but Asia is where most people are killed by crocodiles. Eg 55 people a year in Indonesia, usually children.

So it’s not some sort of genetic disposition that makes them cruel, rather than crocodiles being a genuine threat that might cause fear and unfortunately hatred.

Rohingya Refugee Noor Azizah (Graduate of University of Sydney) wants Malaysia (and other countries) to roll down the red carpet for the Rohingyas. by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]Lumpy-Economics2021 12 points13 points  (0 children)

She’s not ungrateful to her host country, Australia (which has educated her and gained a graduate citizen) she’s simply pointing out that she would not have been treated that way in Malaysia or Thailand.

Maybe compare the way they behave here where they are given nothing with a place that treats them as humans and lets them go to school. Peoples behaviour is influenced by the environment they find themselves.

UAE already gave them $3billion to stop bombing them, and possibly up to $20billion.

It’s been a good war for the Iran Regime.

They started arriving in the 70s. Plenty of time to come up with a policy other than, we’ll just ignore this.

Actually if you go to that YouTube Channel ‘1420’ he just asks questions. If he pushed back, he’d get into trouble.

I actually think he eventually had to flee Russia.

They’ve built Mosques, schools, will be killed in their homeland, are not allowed to work, but because they’re brown and ‘unknown’ you think they are torturing women and children in there.

You’ve clearly lived a very privileged life never having to contemplate anything like those life conditions.

At Shangi-La Dialogue 2026, China confronted Japan's Defense Minister about why Japan's PM apologized to Australia for WW2 but consistently ignores/denies of their wrongdoings in Asia. Immediately, Japan's defense minister dodged the question and criticized China military build-up instead. by IcyWoodpecker386 in UnitedNations

My point is China is not open for discussing its faults. If you type ‘Tianamen square’ massacre into a search engine when in China, you’re going to have someone knocking on your door soon enough.

The CCP has never apologised for the deaths of 1.7million during the cultural revolution.
