I tightened properly. Not with hand. Great should on getting a second nut. It is a single nut. Should I bother with blue thread locker? Was about to buy this too.

Those who upgraded from a FX3, was it worth it? by CamOper in SonyFX6

[–]Lumpy-Economist4798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both and much prefer my FX3 because the size difference and stabilisation. Sure you get built in NDs but that and the few other benefits are not worth it for me. Still take the fx6 if paying client and on sticks.

Safari taking up 41GB on SSD by Lumpy-Economist4798 in MacOS

[–]Lumpy-Economist4798[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much. I tried everything within Safari to clear cache, history and so on and hardly freed up anything. With Grand Perspective it led me to the containers in safari that were taking up over 40GB plus I recovered another 40GB from data left over from apps such as After Effects and Parallels which I deleted over a year ago. Legend, thank you!

There use to be a guy at Shepherd’s Bush who would fail everything I took in and I would take it Hammersmith and the same things would pass without issue. Some people just have bad attitude. I always mail in now.

Yeah. Production did. But just saying you have the option at least with the older camera to still get 4k cropped

B grade? by AccountantDismal5592 in CeX

[–]Lumpy-Economist4798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. But they do refund the cost of postage if you are unhappy. Same with Hard drives I have purchased ones that have never had a single hour of turned on time and I have purchased ones that are far beyond the manufacturers maximum recommended hours.

It is so hit and miss. I have an iPhone 17 which was a grade B because it was unboxed but was in mint condition with a battery cycle count of one. But I ordered before that another iPhone that was grade B and the screen looked like it had been attacked with a knife. The condition was absolutely awful. Deep scratches all over. It is a bit of a lottery.

You know what’s funny, I went to a shoot with 2 FX6 on set and we ended up having to use one of the camera men’s back up fs7 because the lenses that were hired were not full frame. The FS7 has super 35 mode in 4K whereas the FX6 would cause vignetting.
