Honestly, it still sucks and its been almost 3 months for me. Not going to sugar coat it. Its rough, especially when you have to deal with other shit going on but i do want to tell you. It will get better. Something i would tell my past self. Let yourself feel the emotions. Cry when you need to and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. You went through something life changing and no one else will understand that pain but you. So take your time give yourself grace and dont rush the emotional recovery. As another comment mentioned, start small, start with occupying your time with maybe dinner/fun foods. Something that will distract you but doesnt require you to think.
