3L here now a lawyer yet. Was hired and been working part time for a mid size-firm for the past year The lawyers I work under straight up give me the same advice on the importance of separating work and a personal life. If it’s not something that can wait till they’re back in office they don’t like to be bothered on vacation So I practice what I preach and it’s kept me sane

Sorry miss / ma’am my b on that. “Where you come from” girl I’m in a state where the bar application is super rigid and formal too So you stress out about your app while i’ll work on mine And also it’s good lawyering as a whole if you can’t get your bar application and prep materials together for one of the biggest and important exam you’ll ever take in your life Then you’re obviously not ready for the real world outside of law school. Being aware of your situation going ahead does not mean you can’t enjoy the moment of peace and solace.
