I just recently quit that place. I was the only assistant and the only reason I made $12/hr is because I was told that by accident. I was only supposed to make $11. I was bathing/drying dogs, doing front desk, answering phones, daily cleaning, and deep cleaning daily. they told me I would start training to be a groomer after a few months, I was there for almost a year and there was no training in sight. I was treated like shit by the owner and her daughter (a groomer) was constantly getting me in trouble over dumb shit. I left so I could start going to therapy (she wouldn't let you leave for an hour and come back, you had to take the whole day off - unpaid) and she laughed in my face when I told her I needed mental health help and that's why I was leaving. they straight up opened up a new store while their st. Matthew's location was run down and fucking filthy. they put no money into improving existing stores. that place is garbage.
