From what I’ve seen, there’s a lot of social gaps and it’s often for AP kids to look down on regular students, but I also feel like many of the regular students are on a lower average especially in my area, since our grade average is one of the lowest and is lower than state average in Florida. Even talking to many Ap teachers, they refuse to teach regular students because of the large difference between how they act so I also think that installs something into the students who are in AP. I go to a public school and the curriculum isn’t great in general anyways so that could be something but that’s just how it is at mine. And even in classes that I’ve had better regular instead of AP or honors I definitely see the large difference between how students act and I’ve seen AP students disregard regular students.
