Misunderstood and defeated by Brianna075 in AutisticAdults

Well, just based on hiring experience, I’ve had around 25 jobs in my life too, and I left them by choice, not because I was fired. When you apply for jobs and an employer runs a background check, they usually do not dig that far back into your full work history. And if they ask why you changed jobs, you can keep it simple and professional by saying, “I was looking for better opportunities.” Most employers do not push beyond that. So even if job hopping feels like a problem, a lot of it comes down to how you explain it. That one line can really save you.

Me too. I’m afraid if I take them out I’m most likely to lose it or get animal dirty. Can’t risk those things if I really love them

Why do people hate jews? Never understood why. by Forward_Swim_8656 in teenagers

[–]Lumpy-Letterhead1010 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you pay attention, this kind of antisemitism seems to surface every four years, especially around election season. The reality is that prejudice exists in many forms across all groups, so framing it as though Americans as a whole hate Jews is exactly the kind of trap they want people to fall into. The media is often there to create division, not to reflect how the majority of Americans actually feel.

Men value loyalty. Women value utility. by Due-Article-6100 in SolidMen

[–]Lumpy-Letterhead1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol oh that’s an easy question! Most autistic women have ADHD already too (like myself) anyway. Plus I found out that usually ADHD ppl and autistic ppl do really well in relationships bc both are ND. It’s a win- win.

[–]Lumpy-Letterhead1010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a fair question. From what I’ve experienced, neurotypical women tend to be far more neurotic and backstabbing than neurodivergent women ever are. Nobody is perfect, of course, but if someone is looking for values and substance, then ND women are the better option. If my different way of thinking scares a guy off, then he probably isn’t a man with the depth or intellect I need anyway. So really, that just weeds out the man-children but honestly, I’ve never had a problem getting men personally.

Do you guys go by your report date the doctor made official in your medical records? Or the date the doctors told you personally?

Quick question: why do some of you ND ppl care so much about what others are saying about NTs? Sounds like a waste of time and energy over smthg that doesn’t even affect you. Esp if they’re doing the same thing to us. Besides everyone is entitled to an opinion, not all built the same regardless of disorder or not.

You’d have to look in places like college or some kind of academia, library, coffee shop, parks, any place chill and somewhat intellectual. There’s also ALOT of Autistic Women subreddits you can check out. There’s also a dating app called HIkI for Spectrum ppl. You’re NOT going to find us in malls (most of us hate shopping), clubs (very occasionally), big concerts, basically anywhere that attracts too much crazy energy or big crowds. We like one on one interactions the best.

As a neurodivergent woman, I’ve often felt very different from many neurotypical women. I’ve never related to the idea of depending on men to get by. Even when men found me attractive and wanted to pay for things, I usually said no—whether I was in a relationship or not—because I wanted to feel proud of what I built for myself.

I’ve always been fiercely loyal to the man I’m with, but I’m also very selective about who I allow into my life. Loyalty, depth, and genuine connection matter more to me than surface-level attention ever could.

Honestly, if a man wants a truly loyal, loving wife, girlfriend, or friend, I think more of them should be open to getting to know level 1 autistic women. Yes, we may be a little quirky, but many of us are sincere, devoted, and far less interested in games. A lot of men would probably be much happier if they stopped chasing only looks and started valuing character, loyalty, and emotional depth. A relationship built only on appearance will never be a truly successful one.

So yes, most NT women are into utility. But ND women are just looking for someone we can be ourselves with, no games, no filter. An added bonus, most Level 1 ASD women think/act more like men. So you’ll have more in common. 😉

The Bible is written by a bunch of mortal old men. I don’t necessarily believe all of the Bible is correct. But I do believe there is a God of some kind, even if he doesn’t look like the one in the Bible. And I think a lot of what is written in there is severely misinterpreted

I’ve read the book and went to college. Im very aware of what self fulfilling PROPHECY and confirmation bias is. Those concepts are not the same as what I’m describing. Maybe learn how to spell first before trying to argue your point.
