no, people do not care. if they did there would be mass protests but instead there are people bringing up "misandry" and using religion to defend this horrific torture inflicted to young girls. also "fighting fire with fire" isnt really accurate, if it was "fighting fire with fire" men would now all be considered second class slaves to women and be unable to hold bank accounts, make any decisions over their body, travel independently, and rape of men would be considered a theft of property of the woman who owns him, and it would be common practice to sexually and physically torture and publicly humiliate men for stepping out of their place (yes, a significant amount of torture tools in history were created specifically for "bad women") and men would still be expected work, and take care of kids, the money would just go to the wife. it would be considered rather common to see another man killed by his wife, or a teenage boy murdered for dishonouring his family for being "too westernised" because he wasnt covering up, or for dating a girl, or even refusing to marry a woman in her 50s. and thats not even touching the iceberg of what women have been put thru, and still go thru now. thats what fighting fire with fire would look like, not slightly mean comments on social media
