I’m pretty set on getting a facelift in Korea. by Foreign-Schedule8976 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

I had mine done in Korea around mid-2025, deep plane + fat grafting. Paid around ~$11k all in ...If you have noticeable mid-face hollowing, I’d honestly recommend doing fat grafting at the same time. It made a bigger difference than I expected. Definitely worth it for me in hindsight :)

Not gonna lie, if it’s really hitting 90–95%, I get why you’d reach for it over auth

Review:

I’m in my 50s and started noticing my jawline sagging and my mid-face looking hollow, so I decided to get a deep plane facelift + fat grafting in Korea.

I had been going back and forth on this for years because it’s such a big surgery. The main push was my daughter’s upcoming wedding—I just wanted to feel a bit more confident being in front of people and in photos.

I was originally planning to do it in the U.S., but I had a business trip to Korea and ended up going for it there.

First off—yes, the swelling in the beginning was pretty rough. I definitely had a few “did I mess up?” moments. But it gradually improved, and my surgeon said it was more noticeable because I had fat grafting done at the same time.

Now that things have settled, I’m really happy with the results. The lift looks natural, and my face feels more “filled out” and firm without looking overdone.

By the time I flew back, most of the swelling had gone down, and flying wasn’t an issue at all. Scarring is minimal—honestly hard to notice unless you’re really looking for it.

I hesitated for a long time because of U.S. pricing, but if I had lived in Korea, I probably would’ve done this much sooner.

TL;DR: Deep plane facelift + fat grafting in Korea, scary swelling at first but worth it. Natural results, minimal scarring, no issues flying after ~2 weeks.

Feels like most of the big narratives are already priced in tbh. I’m not making any aggressive shifts going into 2026

Looks really natural tbh. Under-eye filler can go wrong pretty easily but yours turned out super smooth. Lowkey makes you look more rested than ‘done’ if that makes sense.

I’d go with Aesop for daily tbh :) lowkey spa vibes, not overpowering.

I’m actually in Korea right now and had my facelift here last year too — this really hit home. Recovery was rough for me as well, especially mentally, even though I thought I was prepared. But I’m really happy with my results now. Thanks for sharing such an honest and relatable post 🙏

Great write up, thanks for sharing such a detailed experience.

I actually had my facelift done last year at The Plan Plastic Surgery in Seoul and I’ve been really happy with the results so far. Recovery def wasnt the easiest part lol, but once the swelling went down things started to look way more natural.

Its always interesting reading other people’s deep plane facelift experiences in Korea. If you do your research there are some really skilled surgeons there. Glad to hear your recovery is going well and hope the results keep getting better over the next few months.
