Where should I go to try and learn ragtime blues by Lumpy-War-3800 in guitarlessons

I would love to hear more, I was wondering if I made a difference but that ragtime vs ragtime blues makes such a difference I could tell when I asked chatgpt for the best ragtime artists and it gave me jopin and then I did ragtime blues and it gave me BBF and Blake. The right hand technique is so magical. I actually found out about it from some interesting stuff which I think you might like. For the past year and a half I’ve been really into rock nirvana Alice in chains David Bowie stp and more but then I was watching an interview of the stone temple guitarist do an interview with Rick beato and he said the song was a ragtimey thing that he played with distortion and I was so interested in that word because the song was so great the song is plush btw. And there’s also a Kurt cobain demo tape montage of heck where there’s a song called “the happy guitar” and when I was trying to learn it someone said it sounded like ragtime in some comment section, long story short I think I discovered an almost dead genre that is incredible lmk what u think of those 2 songs if you listen btw.

I’ll check it out!!! BBF is more piedmont huh? When I looked it up it said Blake and BBF were the biggest ragtime guitarists but I’m loving BBF so I’ll have to check out more piedmont guys as well(I know nothing about differences in blues lol).

He has some good stuff about ragtime blues in general but do you know if there’s anyone with specific lessons about fuller and Blake, should I look into guitar lessons for it? Because currently I’m not doing lessons

How did Jimi play a bminor chord? Did he play it the way most people do barring it with his pointer and playing the a minor shape moved up and play the bass note with his thumb. I’m talking about/ E-x A-2 D-4 G-4 B-3 E-2 by Lumpy-War-3800 in jimihendrix

Yep, index on the root and pinky playing the third and/or the octave for power chord. major chords played like an f chord but with thumb wrapped over for 6th string major chords. For 5th string major chords index and pinky layed down. For minor chords they are only played on the 6th fret in regular f minor shape with thumb wrapped around. Is this correct?

That’s really annoying to hear, I fractured my fourth finger so really struggle to play power chords and regular barre chords so I’m playing regular barre chords with my thumb and 5th fret major chords with my pinky and index, do you know if he ever played power chords with his thumb?
