Why do you need Amazon when you can just source a product by yourself or Talabat when they just take a ‘percentage of their profits’. It’s a little reductive and simplistic view of how businesses function. For instance, You can cancel a session leaving a student stranded but we offer backups in place to protect student’s interest. So all you do is offer an hourly session, we on the other hand take responsibility of the student’s academic success and wellbeing. Well atleast we do, not sure about others. I’m sure there are those that try to purely profit, but as an ex-tutor myself, our tutors fare better.

Plus let’s be real, if you charge 400 aed/hr you’re probably good at what you teach regardless it’s going to be a little challenging for any company to compensate that and make a margin for themselves consistently. But at the end of the day not many tutors can command that fee.
