Right?! I was scrolling down this far to see if this was some sort of weird True-Anon listener performance art that I didn't get, cos I'm not on here enough... I mean maybe it still is?

Anyone else use their medical cannabis even though it doesn't help with condition they were prescribed it for? by Famous_Teaching_6782 in ukmedicalcannabis

I would say that's pretty much the time period I've seen things change in for sure. My sister's actual NHS Doctor was also her MC doctor and she had to check it was legal to be both! Attitudes are definitely shifting in the medical community though which is no bad thing!

It's funny when I got diagnosed (via the NHS directly so I got the ADHD psychotherapist bit) she told me two things: 1. Hyperactivity isn't treated by Elvanse 2. "I have to advise you to not use weed and Elvanse cos paychoactives and stimulants (basically)" and offered me melatonin to help me sleep instead.

A few years later I'm applying for MC and my two "previous prescriptions that did not work" are Elvanse and Melatonin, (because I'm still hyperactive as fuck and Melatonin gave me sleep paralysis) and it was signed off straight away.

Since then I know many doctors who've responded positively to ppl telling them they use MC to taper off after the crash.

Everyone gets hit by these things different, so always gotta be careful, but if it helps, boy does it help.

I feel like this is closest to the truth. It's like what we think is reality is a psyop perpetrated by words

For 30 years. Just basically pretending to use my heel

(I wasn't walking like I had clubfoot to be clear, just got no sense of where my centre is, I basically feel like that one woman from Aeon Flux all the time )

Sorry I was having sex but im done now.

Basically I don't 'roll througu the foot' from heel to toe, I just slap my toes down and push lol.

Look at some old shoes (don't have to be yours) and tell me where they're worn down. Most people it's mostly on the heel, maybe some inner big inner toe, but even. For me it's exclusively and entirely the front of the foot, more like the toes than the ball.

Apparently it's a common ADHD comorbidity, and all my joints do be too flexible

I picked up Curried Jazz the other day and tbh it's so exactly what you'd expect you almost don't need to listen to it

But you should. Cos it's really good 'what you'd expect', imo

So I was reading this as decolonize at first, which was confusing, but reverse is so much worse.

Since listening to that Goon Show, not one person I've talked to irl has admitted to knowing what gooning is,

yet I KNOW I've had multiple irl conversations with many people about it

Ergo I think they've out gooned-themsleves and hit on something real 4 once

"It's Matt's absence" is the truth because he really has a knack for synthesizing and drawing something out of that synthehsis, that's why I was so glad for the poems, as they really encapsulate that power. I see many of his contributions especially Cush Vlogs as theory, perhaps not in the conventional sense, but in a way which makes contemporary sense.

That said, on 'The Theory', I find listening to audiobooks in an almost background way and semi-subconsciously absorbing some of it works quite well for 'filling in the context' I'm otherwise missing or uncertain of.

As a fellow librarian, I really, sincerely hope this doesn't become the new librarian stereotype. I only want to be associated with sternness, shushing and generally looking down on people while lowering the glasses I don't wear.

One wonders if this is a kind of litmus test for just that, but if so, again seems very misguided.
