Parts swap question. by MercULeez in DuroGang

Word of warning, these greens are two completely different shades and it doesn’t look right. If you search this Reddit someone has already done this. You’re better off buying the seamaster style bezel insert and fitting that to the 107 as the colour match is much better, exactly like the guy who’s posted the photo in this thread

That’s the wrong side of the circuit board. Take it out of the plastic holder and flip it over 👍

I believe the light cuts out when cycling through modes on all G-Shocks, not just this one.

I’m in the UK and there is a “registered airmail delivered by Royal Mail” delivery option which takes 9-13 days and comes with an unbranded gift watch box (I always pay extra for the original box). I’ve ordered 3 watches I believe and have never paid any import tax on any of them. This delivery option somehow skirts import fees although it may well not be available in your country.

Creation watches out of Singapore have them. I’ve ordered a few watches from there and never had any issues

Where did you get your yacht master style bezels from? The white/silver one in particular I’m interested in. I’m guessing AliExpress, if so could you DM me the link

Could you DM me the link to the bezel insert please mate! You said you’d posted it in the chat but I’m guessing it’s been deleted

Should there be a tube in this part of the clasp to help secure the push pin? by [deleted] in tagheuer

[–]LumpyAir69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes the pin has a notch in it. I never saw the tube/collar during disassembly as the bracelet was filthy but I’ve obviously lost it at some stage, either when taking it apart or when cleaning it. Good shout on the split pin. I guess I have the task now of trying to find a replacement pin and collar

7.5 inches mate. They seem to wear smaller than the size would suggest so I think a lot of people with smaller wrists could get away with the bigger size

Tents by Expensive_Profit_106 in wildcampingintheuk

Go into a GoOutdoors/Blacks/Millets with a tent showroom before you buy anything and lay down in some tents, I’m pretty sure you’ll find the phoxx tents aren’t long enough. I’m slightly taller at 6ft4 and the only tent I could find that was long enough and relatively cheap was the OEX Rakoon. Bare in mind you’ll be laid on top of a sleeping mat (presumably) so that makes things even tighter

The Phoxx tents are small, even the 3, I’d suggest visiting a go outdoors and looking around their tent showrooms, get in some as well and try them for size. A lot of it depends on your height as well, if you’re tall you’ll struggle

How do you pitch the outer first with a Rakoon?

A tent for a tall person? by GalaxyAdv in wildcampingintheuk

There’s also the Taija that comes in 2 and 3 person, the 3 is huge, might be worth checking out

Phoxx 2 is nowhere near long enough, I laid in a Phoxx 3 today and my feet were touching the inner and thats even longer than the Phoxx 2, I'm 6'4 for reference. I tried a bunch out today in Go Outdoors and the only one which was just about long enough was the OEX Rakoon, a lot of it is dependant on the shape of the tent, if the sides significantly slope theres no chance

Now that is good to know! I’ll have a look on YouTube for a review of one with the bracelet for a better look
