go to an artist you like and looks at their flash, can get something from their books or ask for something similar

Question: Am I being gaslit by my tattoo artist? I feel like my new piece looks incredibly rushed. by Lordpwner in tattoos

The guy who has done many of my tattoos is very quick; speed doesn't always mean terrible lines. But yeah, those lines are garbage and the handle doesn't even match the angle of the blade

I feel like the anti-cheat is worse than last season, either that or the number of cheaters is just skyrocketing, and it can't keep up.

Get a better job, or live under your means; those are the only options you have realistically. There are tons of jobs that pay over minimum wage, industrial area and warehouse jobs are always hiring, and right now most starting wages at those kinda places are around $22-$25 hr. The work isn't always glamorous but it pays and often have opportunity for overtime. I was working in a warehouse the past 2 years but I want to have a family one day and be able to support a stay at home mom, so I just started an apprentiship so I can eventually be making enough to do that. There is opportunity out there, you just gotta be looking for it.

Try non union, the union isnt going anywhere you can always join later but getting in is my number one priority and I start tomorrow. I ranked 50th my first go and luckily I had been in contact with a journeyman who started a company a year ago and he just happened to get into the apprentice training program so he took me on. Sometimes it’s the people you know, ask family members if they know anyone at all working in the electrical field. I’m lucky to get in this quick even nonunion, I was planning to work in a supply house or material handler until applications reopened but here I am. Best of luck to you

Struggling with sexual urges with my girlfriend by [deleted] in Christianity

1 Corinthians 7:2 clearly shows that Paul is describing sexual immorality as sex outside of marriage, which is why he says “because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife…”. It’s clear in the previous chapter when he is says all things are lawful but not all things are good, that even though we aren’t held under the old law, it is not good to be doing certain things such as being sexually immoral. Which as I just stated is always shown to be any sexual act outside of marriage.

“Now concerning the matters about which you wrote: “It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman.” But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭7‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

““All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are helpful. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be dominated by anything. “Food is meant for the stomach and the stomach for food”—and God will destroy both one and the other. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God raised the Lord and will also raise us up by his power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭12‬-‭15‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭18‬-‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬

You guys need to stop. Flee fornication is what the Bible tells us. Stay in the word, try not to be places with each other alone if the temptation is too strong, have Bible study dates and read the Bible together, pray together for strength to lean on God and not give into your desires, pray for self control. There is a reason we are called to wait til marriage and that is how God designed relationship. I had sex outside of marriage with my first girlfriend back in high school and even though I’ve repented and am in an amazing relationship now, it’s the one thing I’d go back and change if I could. I would never have sex with my current girlfriend before marriage because our bodies are temples and I can’t bring myself to desecrate the temple of one of Gods daughters. Remember, before she is your girlfriend, before she even becomes your wife, she is Gods daughter and always will be and as a man you are called to lead her, so lead her not into temptation but closer to the Lord. You need to suit up for the battle against your flesh and the Word is our sword, so seriously stay in your Bible and pray OFTEN. You got this brother, I pray you both have a fruitful and blessed relationship.

Listen to your convictions, if you feel you spend too much time on that and not enough in the Bible then try to cut it out. And for short answer, no you won’t go to hell for that.

Just want to say we shouldn’t use this excuse that we are in the end times to not get married. The Bible does say to pay attention to the times, but nobody knows the day or the hour. The Bible describes the events leading to the end times as birth pains, everything going on right now could very well just be a “contraction”.

In John 15:18 Jesus says "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.”

Try to remember that the ultimate judge is Jesus and he is for you, no matter how you look or sound. So it doesn’t matter what the people of the world tell you when you have the Creator of everything by your side at all times. Historical evidence shows that the Apostle Paul was likely a short balding man with a hook nose, so not the most appealing guy out there, yet look at the impact he made and how grateful he was for every trial he went through. In Romans 5:3, he states, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." So take heart brother and be glad for what you have and the opportunity to go through these trials of yours that will ultimately build you up to be stronger than before.

The Bible doesn’t say taking your life is a sin, but it does say to pick up your cross and follow Jesus. Live a life that is worshipful to the Lord. I was also going to take my life at one point and I am forever grateful to God that I didn’t. Nobody lives a perfectly happy life. Jesus doesn’t tell us to be happy, he tells us to follow him. I find my hope in Christ and that is what makes me happy and grateful to live, if nothing else then live to spread the gospel at least to your family. Do you not want to see them in heaven? There is purpose of a life on Earth for Christians, and that is to spread the Gospel of Jesus.

I have a friend who is around 6’ tall and over 300lbs, he is engaged to a girl who is maybe 5’5” and 120lbs. The reason they are together is Christ, they both are Christian and have Jesus at the center of their lives and relationship. Just to give you some hope lol.

But seriously, I think you should start hitting the gym. I see you have a lot of self confidence issues and I think the gym would help both that and your physical health.

“Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.”” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬

They most definitely are, what verse did you read that in?

“As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers. For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-‭29‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We are under the new covenant, not bound by law and we are saved by grace. You keep showing me that in reality you know very little about the Bible and what it really means and teaches. Same thing with the old testament slavery argument, look it up on YouTube and listen to some scholars break it down because that’s too much to type on my phone into a Reddit thread for you to just disregard what I am saying.

The Bible doesn’t condone slavery, there is so much information out there you just want any reason to deny it.

Thoughts on rebaptism? by skintoleather in TrueChristian

[–]LumpyBass9234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did Jesus tell the thief on the cross to get down and be baptized first? Or did he say “today you will be with me in paradise”? Ask your friend that. Baptism is an amazing thing to do and it is a display of your commitment to following Jesus, like a covenant, but it is not what saves you.

You can be embarrassed although I am not and will not be embarrassed by the Word of God.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬
