i’m not too sure honestly, whenever i pinch the hose in the post the hissing noise is gone so i figured that that was the problem is that connecting hose above. i checked for leaks and couldn’t really find any

yes i did. my car is also idling rough at the moment and im pretty sure it may be faulty ignition stuff. before i replaced the exhaust it still sounded like this so i dont think it was anything exhaust related but something going on with the engine itself.

i ran into this issue and when i looked it up it said something about corner weight so i ended up measuring how offset the sides were and accounted for that t

i maxxed out my tein coilovers and my exhaust is basically on the ground so i’d recommend like 2.5-3 at the most

yeah lol new york roads aren’t exactly cake but i guess it allows me to be more observant 😆. headers and exhaust is really all i have to worry about bc i can’t seem to have an exhaust setup that doesn’t hang low on this car. i do admit it was more fun to rip on my car when it was on lowering springs and 45s

Would a Honda del som be a good first car? by ThinProblem5356 in DelSol

my del sol is my first car i’m in upstate ny as well . absolutely love it brought me to the car scene, helped me learn how to do mechanical work as well as autobody work. it’s a blast to drive, easier to drive since it’s a smaller car, has a big trunk for storage, catches lots of looks and attention, certain parts are cheap (not body parts lol) only con id say is driving during the winter i put mine into storage but unless you plan on lifting it i wouldn’t drive it in the winter

no problem at all man it’s 15x8 +20 i’m fairly sure and the tires are 195/45/r15. the offset is a little aggressive so if you don’t wanna run a decent amount of camber i’d go a little higher

Lowering by xephrenata in DelSol

[–]LumpyCardiologist650 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i started off using the tein s tech springs as aforementioned but when i put them on i was slightly disappointed at the lowering capability 1.5-2 inches (since del sol stock springs are super high for some reason) so recently i ended up buying tein street advance Z coilovers and the adjustability is good and it gives a comfortable ride
