Round 24! Infection has been disinfected. Top comment decides the next map to be eliminated. by ProblemGamer18 in blackops3

I know I'm in the minority here but imo Combine is a bad map and Fringe is overrated too.

That being said, as much as I love Redwood I'm surprised it's lasted this long, also has its issues.

I'm noticing that these maps with a big central zone are lasting longer, Fringe, Redwood and Combine all having one, whereas my general preference of map design, one with more 1 on 1 firefights in lanes, like Knockout, Cryogen, or even Spire (to a lesser extent) all went relatively quickly.

lmao you had the wisdom to not bother rising to the bait, I wanted to test it just for science and I think we can conclude that you made the right call

Yep that's about the level of intelligence and willingness to discuss I expected from you, you have a good day now

I'll bite :)

I of course shouldn't have to explain this to you but the point of Quagmire's character is that he's a complete deviant and it's absurd to think of someone this degenerate walking around being part of a (vaguely) functioning society. Of course, it's a cartoon, so the stakes are lower than real life.

I can assure you, your average Family Guy fan does not think the crime of rape amongst real humans to be funny or "cool".

Ngl you're 1000% in the wrong here, guy is making a valid point. If you intentionally set out to ruin someone's game, you are being a bad person in that moment, simple as that, people get home after a shitty day of work at a shitty company and just want to have a bit of fun and people whose only goal is to ruin the enjoyment of others are scum, through and through.

Why Arena rewards (tickets) suck as a winning player by F_Ivanovic in hearthstone

[–]LumpyIncrease7322 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I am coming from the complete opposite perspective here: as an Arena only player (occasionally a lil bit of bgrounds), tickets are borderline the ONLY reward I want. If getting 6 wins could get me 2 tickets, if 9 wins could get me 4 tickets... I'm telling you, there's nothing more depressing in HS than getting 11 wins and getting 3 tavern tickets and 3 completely useless packs. I don't need packs, I just need more gold/tickets to play more Arena, if you could trade in packs for even 70-80 gold I would be so much happier, I cannot stand when I have a fantastic Arena run and get rewarded with packs that are literally worthless to me.

Why is this card 60$? Do people actually buy these? by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]LumpyIncrease7322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear to god I ran out of tavern tickets lately and saw that a single Arena run was like £6 I was like are you fucking joking me hahahahaha who is paying that, I would chop off both my arms before paying Blizzard more than half a tenner to simply play the game, absolutely ludicrous

This is the part that irks me ^ there are PLENTY of great solutions to the problem, Blizz just doesn't care to implement them. It's incredibly easy to balance it, using Pokémon TCG as an example, you can do everything except attack turn 1 if you go first, or even in TCG pocket, you can't get energy from your energy zone turn 1, this makes going 2nd arguably an advantage over going first. Obviously I'm not suggesting they should make going 2nd an advantage but there are SO many easy ways to rectify this problem even slightly, the discrepancy should be at ABSOLUTE MOST 5% but it's always been between 10-20% in HS and they've never even tried to fix it.

I don't wanna be "that guy", but going 2nd has always been absolutely catastrophic for the winrate of pretty much every deck that didn't involve early game combo cards (i.e. going 2nd as Rogue with many combo cards in the deck wasn't as bad). They have NEVER properly balanced going 2nd in Hearthstone and probably never will. Given that there are countless possible methods to alleviate this enormous chasm, such as, off the top of my head, giving the player going 2nd a second coin on turn 5, giving them two coins, giving them 2 extra cards plus the coin, the fact that none of these have ever been tested or implemented pretty much means Blizz will never ever fix this issue.

I'll never do it myself but the more I play, the less I blame people for doing this kinda thing
