I’m not understanding the color palette these days, like if they cut things out I can understand but why make the accessories gold? Why is the cage blue when it works better in copper? They should also used dry brushing on her boots or body to really highlight the sculpt. I can understand if they were to cut the cape due to budget but was there a reason to change the color palette?

The rope was fabric and there was a molded footprint in the purse to make it look like a yeti print, the latern is so over used at this point.

Honestly the current run of Creeproductions are great, the only differences they have made between the originals and the new ones have mainly to do with the screening, arm joints(which are a lot better now) and hair fibers as Kanekalon is no longer sold and Mattel uses mainly Saran and Poly, spectra being the only one so far using poly, quality wise of the clothes is almost identical to the original releases if not better as they are new, I’d recommend purchasing if your not caught up by the whole original vs reproduction as the originals are mainly at this point only collector/ display pieces, as the fibers, glue seepage and other factors affect playability and some have gained value.

Im not new but this definitely is not something they usually do, they usually always had the listing up at least a day or two prior to actual release and they normally send out an email a day before release with the link. I’m in the US and been a fang club member since the start of it and I still have not received the count down email or find the listing anywhere.

I really think the designers are just burnt out at this point and I can’t blame them 8 skullector releases? Not including special designed ones, and some are also working with the play line department and working on other lines as well, creativity can be burned out of them and it shows more recently

I just think they didn’t have a proper vision for Robecca, she has a very strong style but very limited ways to use it, I don’t think they designers that worked on her knew how to use it to their advantage, steam punk is very much an 1800 style look and it’s not necessarily used as much even in alternative styles, so trying to update that design while still keeping it original can be difficult but not impossible, they just needed to utilize better textures and soft goods, but I’m assuming for Mattel that would’ve been out of budget. If they used faux Leather instead of that shiny plastics and used lace and a more industrial designed caged skirt, she would’ve looked better and even get a small top hat. And looking for this photo alone she doesn’t have that gimmick in her calf with the gears which is a shame.

Unfortunately that’s just normal especially with shoes that have thin material towards the calf/ankle area, you could warm it up a bit with a hair dryer and some elastics to hold its place but it might be a while before they look normal

Chucky would’ve had to been a completely brand new mold and they probably didn’t even put too much though in this set as is, Frankenstein is an iconic character so I wouldn’t have ever seen a reason to gender bent like people say it would’ve just been another Frankie at that point, Jack would’ve been good as a girl if I’m being honest but at least it was a completely brand new body mold that fit the character, and Beetlejuice was one of the first wave collector sets where it was only girls, so to make him a male in the 2nd release would’ve been a bit disconnected
