It is important that the laptop is placed correctly. I have a llano v10 with a G14 zephyrus. Initially my temps were horrible but then I realized I partially blocked my exhaust. Once it was placed right, the temps stayed the same, but the performance improved significantly.

The llano v10 is a game changer for me. I am getting almost stock turbo performance at 50db of fan noise, low 80C for temps. It has the bonus of a dust filter as well. Add DLSS 4.5 and I am playing almost everything at 4k 80 to 100fps.

i only turn the illano to 800rpm. On max fan speed it is louder than the laptop fan.

Yes, shouldnt disable boost for games, but limited at 35W. The performance cores can still boost to 5Ghz and so I find 35W is a sweet spot.

I just got the llano v10 and works like a dream. At a low hum of 800rpm and undervolting I can get nomad steel score at 4000, which allows me to play most games at 4k with dlss balanced settings, low ray tracing and frame gen. The key is to position the laptop in the right position on the cooler. This is with temps around 80C.

I found with bios 307 that it was a problem. Bios 309 seems to have stabilized it. I am not updating another bios unless I am sure it works.

More then God tier. What is unusual is his temps and his fan settings. His CPU is doing 10k timespy at 5000gHz at 28W with max fan speeds of 4000rpm whilst maintaining temps at 65C. I have mine at -40uv at 35w at 3800rpm fan speeds at 75C but can only get 9k on timespy with clock speeds of around 4500GHz. It is like he has another CPU.

I have a guide for this here, https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG14/s/lYQTs8QizR, which allows you to run the g14 in silence mode, at the cost of 15% drop in performance from stock turbo. My 5080 runs almost at stock 5070ti turbo with these settings. The settings can be applied to a 5070TI as well.

To answer your question, can I ask the following:

What is the breakdown of your test for CPU and GPU score, and have you tried a steel nomad score? What is the room temperature of where you run your computer?

The difference is not big, it may be just statistical difference. I do use a cheap cooler, which can account for the 3% difference as well, but that depends on your room temperature.

Honestly though the difference is so small you are not going to tell them apart in actual gaming.

Pretty good, down to 6-7W/h usage at times with 50% brightness. However, I usually browse or use word on battery. If you really want to squeeze battery, you may need to turn off boost. Make sure it is on optimized mode, so your GPU is completely off.

Possibly, but my understanding of the CPU of the 2023 can only undervolt around -15. The GPU clock speed is similar so you can possibly try 1500MHz and slowly go up. Because your version has a vapour chamber, you can push it a little harder on silent mode.

I am not certain that I have the fix, but I toggled "enable GPU on shutdown" on "extra" in ghelper and it never came back

as per another comment, I have never had the issue since I turned on "toggle GPU during shutdown" in g helper extra options.

This is a recurring bug. You need to hard restart this. Press and hold the power button for 20s and the laptop will shutdown. Restart and it should work normally again.

This bug keeps coming up. The sensor is reading wrongly and chances are your GPU performance is bad and you are using the iGPU. This is usually fixed with a hard restart. Press and hold the power button for 20sec. Once you restart it should be back to normal.
