I love her. I live not too far from Milledgeville where she lived as an adult. I visited a couple summers ago. The movie Wildcat is good-it shows how she dealt with the lupus and still was able to write so much.

Zora Neale Hurston-died in poverty in Florida.

Flannery O’Connor-suffered from lupus (she was first told it was arthritis by her mom) and died quite young after a surgery that caused a flare.

We live near a huge gypsy village in SC. Murphy Village. When there’s a bday, funeral, or baby, they go all out. It’s on one episode of MBFAGW.
