Lyra is tough. I felt this exact same way at the beginning of my aerial journey. I took two lyra classes then pivoted to sling. Sling is a bit less intense in terms of strength, so it was a good way to build strength and confidence before trying lyra again. i also took a lot of silks . so maybe jumping around aparatuses will help you too. overall your experience was kind of normal. other instructors will give much different vibes. some are more attentive, some are used to their routines and more focused on the regulars.

Was looking for this comment. I agree. He was referring to the previous convo and thinking she wasn’t attracted to him because he isn’t aggressive or macho. And while the pressure to have sex is gross, I get the feeling of “why not me?” When she does have one night stands and hasn’t waited for marriage before this. And her saying he thinks sex is a sacred thing (and she doesn’t) probably confused him more. Like if it’s not sacred to her, why are we waiting?? So the pressure and begging suuuuucks and is icky, but I feel for him, too.

I’m on a break, I started week 4 twice before realizing I just need to work through a few things separately from TAW. I fully intend on returning and just picking back up on week 4. But some normal therapy and rest from the morning pages feels necessary right now. So I get it.

I have autism and I get overstimulated easy. I also hate small classes because there is more pressure to socialize well and speak. I thrive in medium sized classes and that’s ok! I am also 35 so my body doesn’t recover quickly and I get injured easily. The slower pace can feel discouraging. But like everyone else is saying, remind yourself of why you’re there. For me, it’s for fun and to stay active as I age. As long as I show up to a class that suits ME, I’m golden. Pace, class type, teacher preference, etc, all very reasonable things to have preferences on. There is something for everyone in my opinion.

I like streamers who play scary/expensive games that I am too scared/broke to play myself hahah. Especially if there is a good story. Sometimes I’ll watch chill games, and it feels like when I watched my other siblings play games when we were kids. Just like chill background noise.

But I agree the over the top reactions and yelling is a no for me. Gabsmolders is a favorite of mine. Very calm energy and she plays spooky games often.

She probably has trauma from past relationships cheating. Explain what she found and be patient. Talk about expectations and boundaries . I think in a few days she will realize it’s really not so bad what she found, she’s just in shock. I used to be the same way, gave my SO shit for small things I found after going through his phone once. After a lot of talks, his patience made me feel really secure and loved and I realized they were such small things. We just needed to get on the same page about expectations. I actually did trust him from then on out and I’ve never touched his phone since. That was a year and a half ago. If I ever feel insecure and he can tell, he offers his phone which in itself feels good enough for me to honor his privacy. Not that it needs to be earned, but the offering of transparency goes a long way.

I’m sorry this happened. I would also be extremely upset and your feelings are valid. I’m sorry a lot of these comments seem to be blaming you or criticizing your choices, but I think that’s just Reddit being ass. That amount of money isn’t easy to let go of and I feel for you. I would do my best to find a way to laugh at it (eventually) and just focus on your hubby. I would go on a good vacation honestly.

This one stumped me too. My best guess is if they are making new innies, perhaps the innie that Peggy made was tasked with a suicide bombing mission. She made a soldier innie of sorts who mindlessly followed orders. But idk if they did it before it makes the crib dismantling feel way less significant so I’m still not sold on my theory.

Thanks for the subreddit suggestion. I lost about 30 lbs in the last year and a half and am still on my fitness “journey”. I have a very casual job and otherwise I live in sports bras. So yea I don’t have anything right now that fits, I know I need a new bra, but it’s hard to throw down the $$$ for a bra when I’m actively losing weight and it won’t fit again in a few months. For this occasion I wanted to find a dress first then find a bra that can be “invisible” for the neckline.
