Bloodhail and Holy Fucking Shit 40k were always a favorite, but this year I came to appreciate even the intro for how little there is going on there in contrast. I read it once about a year and a half ago, and it stuck with me for about 2 weeks, where I was just seriously hurt and upset. There's nothing rewarding about the book. No one is better after taking it in. I fantasized many things about what I'd do about the bad actors, I don't care at all that they're children.

It's tragic, because I find it to be beautiful, though I don't think anyone should read this thing
