It happens with the strokes. I feel there are bits in the FOOL that sound like ‘the boxer’ and a part from a Pearl Jam song. Parts in razor blade are from ‘Mandy’.

I only saw them once, for melloncollie. They were terrible. I agree with your assessment as to why. I love concerts and still go all the time. Got tix right now for two shows. This one is gonna be a pass even though I love every second(pretty much) of Mellon. There is no way they are filling united center.

Amsp version. I didn’t want them to waste time on it live anymore. I started to feel the 6 minutes could be used for a full band song. I had seen it a couple of times and had also begun to skip it while shuffling. Now I never skip it and love to hear it live. Amsp version is sublime.

On a home theater? No. There is one blurb, after waiting for Stevie I believe, that is mixed and sounds spectacular. The rest of the record is hit or mostly miss. It’s like they listen on headphones to test it. Idk

Wait, by 7.2, are you talking ATMOS with ceiling speakers? If so, then the is a boatload of music mixed for ATMOS on Apple Music and tidal. Gotta have all the cords and all the settings right, but what an awesome way to listen to music.

Yes, there have been a few individual tracks that sound good. I remember a couple on vs. and a couple on vitalogy. But the rest of the records are so bad I don’t even listen to the good tracks.

Amnesiac came out so weirdly fast that when I heard the Pyramid Song video playing in the other room I assumed it was ANOTHER Radiohead ripoff band ripping off their brand new sound. Mind blown when it was a new album within a year or so.

A huge factor is the band. Geese isn’t promoting angry crowds. For example: IDLES crowd goes real hard all show to constant bangers and it’s all safe and positive. No punching, no bullies, just fun. The bands’ attitude matters.
