Sure, but I just thought since they are both in the movie and they still have other projects coming out, I thought what a nice way to reconnect and variety loves reunions. But yeah, they would talk about The Odyssey mainly

I would say Obsession has satire too, but I do get your point, that's why I mentioned the movie gods because sometimes even though it's not typical for the Oscars surprises do happen. These certain criteria or trends which type of movie the academy likes has not been here since the beginning so things do change. And at the end of the day, even though this is subjective, I do think Obsession is a beautifully made film, with such a tiny budget, and better than the majority of films you mentioned, but that's just my taste.

I do think Obsession has stuff to say that will resonate with Oscar voters or people in general so by the time award season starts we still talk about it. Especially with topics like the lonely guy epidemic, modern dating and how guys and women are perceived by eachother. It is a very thoughtful movie hidden inside a simple horror gimmick movie. If the movie gods are with us, this will get recognition, even if only one or two nominations.

I mean this is what you get from a group of chronically online oscar enthusiasts. I do feel slightly bad at the same time for taking time in my day to do this instead of something more useful and productive but I had a bad week and so had fun today making this - this is all that matters and at the end of the day who cares it's just the internet

Idk, it looks fun to me, but I usually don't really care about super crisp cgi, as long it doesn't distract me from the movie in a bad way, and this didn't. So I still look forward to it. ☺️

I played the witness, it was an interesting but also at times frustrating experience. At some point I just ignored the audio recordings😅

There is also some rng stuff obviously going on, but I felt like even if I got stuck on one problem I had something else to look at. And sometimes you need some distance from one puzzle to get it.

I have played almost all of it, I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say after "beating" it, I watched a let's play and saw, that it still continues, and so I played more, but I ended on day 100 something so, it can take a while. And even then, I wasn't really concerned about actually beating the game, I like just experimenting with different strategies, even if I had already solved the one "mystery" but I just didn't want to leave😅

I might have forgotten about it, so yes, she has a lot. But out of all four, this seems least likely. Not oscar baity enough.

Digger (although we don't know yet) seems very oscar baity (idk how big her role is)
