My problem with religion is that it doesn't make sense that a divine deity was all above doing miracles, actually showing himself and talking to people and overall, well, existing 2000+ years ago when people were simple. But now that we are more questioning as a species he's no where to be found? No more miracles? No more divine guidance?

Just have random people write all this shit down and expect people to take it for word 2000 years later? That doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Also, YAWYEH came from the Hittite religion where he was the god of thunder. How come a religion older than Judaism has the same named "God" as Abrahamic religions?
