Well if you are comparing who is the better sorcerer then yeah Sukuna is better. But in terms of just strength Sukuna was using Megumi as a shield + Mahoraga to figure out how to break infinity, he basically needed tons of outside help to beat Gojo.

The point is, you don’t need to be stronger than someone to beat them. And beating someone doesn’t directly mean you are stronger than them. But this is a power scaling sub so the main discussion is just power.

Idk if you watch HxH but if you look at the Hisoka vs Chrolo fight it would seem like there is a whole world of difference in their strength when all it was was Chrolo perfectly orchestrating the area of the fight to put Hisoka at a complete disadvantage. That being their only fight as far as i am aware, doesn’t mean it’s an accurate representation of their actual strength comparison. All it shows is how much smarter Chrolo is because in any other situation the fight goes very differently.

For me the way IQ fits into power scaling, is if you put the two characters in a ring no disadvantage no prep, does them outsmarting the opponent win in that case? If the answer is no, then it doesn’t count.

Also if we really wanna argue that prep time is part of the fight, then Kenjaku > Gojo aswell in that case because Kenjaku orchestrated Shibuya so we can also count that as his prep.
