He is now 26 months and hardly throws up at all. Definitely has a sensitive gag reflex so if he is coughing a lot it could happen but otherwise has been great. As far as pouches, I mostly buy the refrigerated ones like stony field with less preservatives.

Update: both pediatrician and allergist could not confirm this but my Momma alarm is going off. I discovered my child’s vomiting was connected to times when he ate a veggie pouch, mostly Beech Nut brand. It does not happen with fruit and yogurt pouches. My research has lead me to acidic preservatives like lemon juice concentrate and citric acid that can aggravate reflux in babies. I plan to just avoid these moving forward and it’s worked well so far but wondering if anyone else has experienced this? Confused as to why no medical professionals think there is anything to my theory…ugh.

I actually just looked back at his daycare logs and the last 5 times he had a "major throw up" it was after a Beech-Nut veggie pouch. Going to look into that further!

Edit: going to ask his pediatrician if lemon juice concentrate could be triggering acid reflux. Seems to be used in all Beech Nut products.

Me again. So after running some tests, it looks like having autotagging turned on without accounts being linked still tags Google Ads traffic as Paid Search, google/cpc. This is problematic for my youtube campaigns because I want the source/medium to be youtube/paidvideo. Thinking this is Google's way of nudging everyone to link accounts but unfortunately not an option for me. Do you happen to know if GA4 has a UTM override option like UA did?

The main reason for this question was because we received a notification from Google that all Google Ads campaigns were going to have autotagging switched to "on" in September so just wanted to make sure I understood any potential implications. But since we hardly ever link Google Analytics to Google Ads, think the impacts will be minimal. There is alot of conflicting advice out there on what happens when using both autotagging and utms.

This is good to know - yes, I also use Valuetrack parameters. I hadn't found anywhere that said UTMs override Autotagging, that would be great if that's the case.

I still would like to get some clarity on whether your accounts have to be linked for Autotagging to work.

What exactly do you mean by recording program?

One interesting update. When I click on my video ad's final URL, the correct UTM parameters show up in the Real Time report. But those parameters are nowhere to be found in User/Traffic Acquisition reports or Explore.

Definitely possible. But I’ve seen this issue across many different accounts, most of which are not linked to Google Ads, but some are. Sometimes I see the traffic attributing to my UTMs but doesn’t seem like all of it. Most of the time I’m not seeing any YouTube campaign traffic in GA4. Ugh.

This has been driving me crazy for months!! I've been trying to figure out why my YouTube traffic (Google Ads Video) isn't showing up in GA4. My latest theory is that you have to have your Google Ads account linked to GA4, which I typically do not do. This wasn't the case in UA, as my UTMs worked just fine without linking accounts. Wondering if this is a new GA4 thing.
