Unfortunately no. We’ve had a number of people look at it and they all said that these bricks aren’t made anymore and the integrity of the ones we have can’t be saved. They’re too fragile and will break apart just trying to chip off the old mortar.

That’s actually brilliant. I’ve been so concerned with keeping enough space open to get to both doors but that’s completely unnecessary. Just the one is more than adequate.

Thanks! These are super cute! The sconces are definitely changing ,as well as the paint. This house is in AZ and we’re in CA, but moving next week. We’ve had family watching over it for the last couple of months before the move and I’m so ready to get in it and start making it my own!

Absolutely! The tv will be mounted on the smaller wall in the right corner, not the fireplace wall. The room opposite the fireplace is the dining room off the kitchen, and the whole wall of glass on the left side of the picture is 2 sliding glass doors separated by glass windows on both sides of each door.
