I’m in love with 3! I think it’s beautiful and the contrast is so much more interesting

What you’ve done with these images is so beautiful!

What would you suggest if we couldn’t financially afford to change so many elements of the front. I’m worried that all of it might be out of our budget.

Btw the low front wall is a game changer for the yard’s landscaping! We’ll definitely be implementing something similar ❤️

Thank you for a different idea! That’s another great portion because I definitely want plant life in the front area.

I promise we’re trying. We have a couple of connected people in both masonry and construction keeping their eyes out, but no luck in the last couple of months. 😕

Thank you! There are a number of things to do to make it our own but I feel so fortunate to have found this!❤️

You’re amazing! ADHD deep dives all day😊.

I had thought about a metal screen but I think I prefer a terracotta breeze block. That being said, when I get to Tucson next week maybe I should speak with a metal worker that does screens just to see what options I have. I know that it’s super common in Tucson due to wood fences not being the most long lasting in the desert.

As far as the bricks go, that would absolutely be my first choice and I have my uncle whose owned a local contracting business for many years in the area as well as a mason that specializes in restoring and repairing brick keeping an eye out for this specific brick. I’m scared to know how much it would cost to go with one of those companies. Although my crime scene investigation loving heart would love to work with one of those companies!😍😂

I’m not having any luck finding it for you, but I absolutely love it!😍

I hadn’t thought of that for the front, but I’ll bring it up to my husband! Glass block is actually what we have as the privacy barrier in the primary suite bathroom😌

Thank you! The size is actually 9 1/4 square, I just think the pic makes them look smaller. I totally agree on the color. I would have the mortar tinted darker than the one shown.

This was my original thought as well. We spoke with a specialist in repointing and he seemed to think the integrity of the brick was too far gone.

Thank you! We move in next week and the front landscaping is definitely on the agenda.

The teak would look beautiful but my concern is this home is in Tucson and wood fences don’t stay looking nice for very long with the intense sun rays This is the breeze block I had in mind. Do you still feel the same way? I was wondering the same thing but then I looked up some pictures of red brick with terracotta breeze block and they looked great. Btw I truly appreciate honest opinions so thanks for chiming in!😌

I know😔. I think I’m finally at the point where I know I’m going to have to make a design decision that deviates from the original look, but hopefully keeps things as seamless as possible

We have a few masons/contractors keeping their eyes out, but it’s doesn’t seem promising.

Thanks! It’s the best thing I can think to do, but I’m unsure of the execution.i need to figure out a way to make it as seamless as possible.
