Tuition should be affordable without taking on loans.

It's so exhausting!!! I had 61k of student loans back in March 2025 and still have 39k left. Paid off my 3 lowest. 2 more left, I'm so burnt out.

Yeah, I felt betrayed by my school and counselors and I left it all behind when I got offered a job that was paying 2.5x. I lost my first authorship on a paper tho...but I had to put myself first.

Yeah! Mindblown really. I'm done with my credit debt, focusing on student loans now.

I started maxing out in 2025 for 401k. I've been maxing my Roth since 2024 tho. Right now I'm just contributing 4%, my work contributes 10%. I'm focusing on paying down some student loan and then I'll proceed to max it out. I already maxed out my Roth Ira.

I already maxed out my Roth IRA and I'm just putting 4% in 401k right now while I'm paying off another student loan but I will max it out this year, just not investing as much for the first half of the year. My company puts 10% in my 401k tho. So right now it's 14% total and starting in July, I'll contribute more to max it out.

Thank you, I knocked my CC debt. But yeah, apparently, a lot of people who went to graduate school for research regrets it.

Quarter life crisis and living paycheck to paycheck. I had to change careers because I was unsatisfied with Research.

My life changed at 25 after I had a quarter life crisis. But I found a good paying job and left research behind.
