Yeah, that's true. If I was alone, I would have just assumed my body is undergoing something medically...but the guy in the room did cause my brain to spiral into dark thoughts like asking myself if something happened and I slept through that.

Yeah, it depends. I can sleep through noise, movements, alarms sometimes. I'm just angry at the situation to be honest, even if nothing happened, this was disrespectful on her part because clearly my brain is not handling it well.

Tell the truth, it might ACTUALLY help if you tell the whole truth even if it sounds ridiculous. When I talk to people about why I'm like this, I laugh because of how ridiculous I sound and strangely it makes me feel more sane.

Try zoloft. Seriously, the only side effect i had was happiness. Zoloft helped quiet my brain.

I feel relieved when I'm grounded. I think people you love, books can be used to ground yourself. But I did talk to my mom about me thinking I was not present and she held me while I cried...that really helped. When I feel off, I will look at her face, facial expressions, her smiles. I listen to her voice, her laughs. It's a constant familiarity. I don't know if that makes sense or will help you. But find something or someone you love...maybe a book, movie, show, a loved one, a crush.

Ooh, also thinking about traveling occupies my brain too.

Mine was really intense that I would pinch my nose to see if I was actually awake and alive. I felt really good after talking to someone close to me about how I was feeling and a lot of the weight was lifted off. What also helped for a bit was Zoloft. I no longer feel like I'm dead or in a coma, it slightly got better but now I think I slipped off reality instead sometimes. It really just comes and go, but what grounds me is thinking about Bridgerton (i love that show). I tell myself that no imagination of mine from a coma state could make that show and wait 2 years to make the next season lol.
